The Plough Inn, Crowhurst in Rother

Friendly staff, nice selection of beer, beer garden for sunny days. 3.5 mile walk from Bexhill through Combe Valley Park, the footpath to Crowhurst takes you straight to the pub - very convenient.

Very nice traditional and tranquil British country pub.Great service, good range of products not overly expensive.0.7 miles away from Crowhurst Train Station, great little escape haven for the city folk.

Just moved to the area and were recommended The Plough for its Sunday Roasts.It did not disappoint. The food was lovely, big portions and the meat, we had Lamb, was gorgeous.But the lady who was working there was the highlight, due to staff sickness she was doing everything: bar, waitress, table cleaning, the lot and it was very busy.But she was cheerful, attentive and made our whole experience enjoyable. I didn't catch her name but thank you!!!

Average roast, bit cold and beef over cooked. Nice pub, lovely staff. Will be back to try again, as my mates pork looked great.

Lovely atmosphere. Malbec wine was gorgeous, along with my Sunday roast. Highly recommend this pub for quality and friendliness.

Best food in East Sussex. We been in many places. But this place have a simply delicious meals. Fantastic customer service. Recommended to family with kids and dogs.

We were staying just down the road and had a super dinner here; the service was great! We were warmly welcomed and had some lovely food! The fish & chips were great! A good selection of beers too!! Highly recommended!!

A wonderful pub in a lovely location, beer selection is one of the best I have seen, food is amazing, I had the pork it was succulent and crackling was beautiful, well worth a visit.

Superb roast and great serviceI had Sunday roast beef and my girlfriend had roast pork. Both cooked perfectly with delicious roast potatoes and vegetables. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever tasted. Friendly helpful staff and good value.
