We had a lunch and two evening meals here over a few days, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We both found the menu had plenty of choices for us and enjoyed eating in the pub and in the garden, which has a lot of seating. Dog friendly inside and out.

Beautiful pub in a lovely setting. We ordered food, the terrine, and burgers. I'm dairy free and they had dairy free cheese which was a nice touch. Only slightly disappointed that the portion of coleslaw was tiny and the bread was minimal with the terrine.

Lovely village pub. Very welcoming. Excellent outdoor space. Good range of beers to choose from. Very good fish and chips meal. Would certainly revisit if passing.

Thanks for a lovely Sunday afternoon in the garden at your pub. Delicious food, especially the vegan burger and nut roast. We will definately be back for more as soon as we can.

Whilst the food was good, both my friend and I fancied a lighter bite than was on offer. As I said though, that was our choice. The menu had a good range, although the veggie options were a little lacking for me. Tuesday night is quiz night so very busy. Because of this, where we were sat out back, we did feel a little deserted! Worth a visit though, especially if you are hungry and looking for pub grub

Beautiful pub and beautiful location. Friendly staff. Food was good but could be improved. We had the Siracha Prawns, Smoked Haddock and Salmon pot, smoked duck salad and chips. The smoked haddock and salmon was a triumph and especially liked the mini fresh loaf on the side. The prawns and ducks salad were a little disappointing. King prawns would have been nice as 6 small prawns for Β£8 isn't the best value. The salad was also the same as the duck salad as well. I had imagined the duck salad to be a little more complete as a dish. Lastly, the triple cooked chips were delicious and incredibly well made. I would have said an extra 30s in the fryer wouldn't have hurt to perfect them and make them extra crispy on the outside to go with the already beuatifully fluffiness in the centre. Would highly recommend a visit here!

Gorgeous traditional pub, lovely staff however a very limited food menu. "Large plate" fish and chips came with 12 chips, so few that I bothered to count, homemade tartar sauce just tasted like mayonnaise and from the witnessed struggles you'll need a Japanese knife for the roast beef.

Lovely pub/restaurant serving good quality food and drink. New social distancing rules being applied excellently. Staff friendly, attentive and professional.Average prices for food and drinks.Theres art on the walls which is available to buy.As the only pub in the village it can get a little busy on a summer's afternoon and weekend.
