The Sackville Bistro in Rother

Absolutely lovely! Came for Sunday lunch on Father’s Day and the cavern was delicious you get lots of great food for the price and the staff were lovely, good drinks and atmosphere too! Would recommend.

What a lovely place to celebrate sons 21st.Excellent service, lovely spacious atmosphere, great location.Food excellent catering for gluten free especially well, vegetarian and vegan. Not pricey either - a really lovely experience.Can't wait to go back - they also have a spa and hair and beauty place think we might have to go to!5 star rating.

Myself and two friends had lunch at the Sackville Bistro today and had a lovely meal. The menu covers all appetites and purses. Two of us had burgers and the other the Cajun chicken skewers. Everything was cooked perfectly and to our requests (well done burger and bacon). The service was fast and welcoming. Now, the desserts… oh my heavens, the Biscoff Cheesecake is sublime. My friend had the coconut chocolate tart with blood orange sorbet and said it was amazing. Top marks, we will be back for more.

A beautiful setting and nicely appointed. Our table of 4 expected so much more from the experience. All of our dishes were cold in the extreme and the service was below average. They must have been having a bad day but on this evidence I would nt recommend.Such a shame

Came here for Sunday Lunch. Absolutely fantastic, service was really good too. For the Carvery you go up a table at a time to avoid queues, you can go up as many times as you like too although I was very full after the first time! Dessert was amazing: Caramel Apple Crumble, best Apple Crumble ever!!! Highly recommended it if you are ever in Bexhill and want a Sunday Roast. Seats were very comfortable too and the interior was very modern.

A little gem! Been going regularly since I moved here 18 months ago. Very nice environment, friendly service and a great location- metres from the sea. Steak on the Stone a wow speciality. Oh, and if you like cocktails….

Just came back from having the Carvery today. Honestly thought the meat and the Yorkshire puddings were chewy. The stuffing was very hard and left the restaurant today not really understanding why everyone thinks this place is so great. My mum is a great cook and I am glad she wasn't with me today as she would have been disappointed.

Visited this place on Bank Holiday Monday and I must say I was well pleased with my choice of a place for lunch. Lovely location by the sea, friendly staff and good menu for food and drinks.Would definitely recommend their chickpea burger, it was divine! Their house cocktail was quite good too. Was seated outdoors so I couldn't be served the steak stone due to H&S but if you really want to have it then book a table indoors.All covid measures followed. Definitely recommend this place on a beautiful sunny day.

Excellent service location and food. This was a real surprise as I have not had such a good dining experience in Bexhill-on-Sea.The outside area is perfect for social distancing and all the tables are covered with huge umbrellas (great for UK weather)I really enjoyed a burger and the menu is varied with plenty of choices for starters mains and dessert. Good fish options too. Excellent service with helpful staff always on hand. Drinks menu also great and a lively space to eat and drink
