My sister and I treated ourselves for our joint birthday. Outstanding food and service. Couldn't fault anything. An utter joy from the minute we arrived.

Had lunch here today it was delicious best I've had in a while. Staff very polite and attentive would highly recommend can't wait to go again.

My partner and I had a lovely dinner here for her birthday. The food was pretty incredible and we both loved the range of choice on the al a carte menu which was all really reasonably priced. We almost did the taster menu but both wanted to try things off the taster in the end. The atmosphere inside was really cosy, like a high end pub restaurant. Service was really nice and all round we just had a perfect evening. Will be going back for sure.

Really enjoyed our evening to celebrate Mother's Day. Service and ambience were great but the food was outstanding. We all agreed everything was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return soon.

This is magnificent on every level. The accoustics are cleverly managed so our hard of hearing guests could cope. The cutlery (weighty) and tableware set off the food perfectly. The food oh my goodness, the food! The young, attentive but highly professional waiting staff added to the loveliness of the event. We've been promising ourselves a trip to The Wild Mushroom for forever - it was worth the wait.

Not quite as good as we remember, but that might be our menu choices. Having said that, the dessert (coconut panocotto) was amazing, as was the cheese board. Venison started was also very good. Service was also slightly too relaxed.

This restaurant is nestled in a small village just outside of Hastings. Offering what I would class as high end cuisine the food here is something else. The building itself is a small little cottage with a homely feel when you enter. They cater for large events, such as Christmas dinner get togethers as well as small couples tables giving you that romantic night out feel. They also do annual events such as a wine and food gourmet evening which I went to recently. This is a series of small dishes where each one is served with its own taster of wine to match the dish. Although the portions initially look small, each one is bursting with flavour. Over the evening and 9 dishes later, you come away feeling fulfilled but not bloated. Price wise, don’t expect to walk out without paying at least 3 figures as it can be pricey but you definitely get what you pay for here. If your looking for upmarket, amazing taste and food that you don’t normally order on a night out then this is your place.

Fine dining great drinks with very good service.I recently visited The Wild Mushroom Restaurant on the outskirts of Hastings for a lunch. I had pre-booked a table. The lunch menu of 2 courses for £19.95 is very good value. I had an apple and celeriac soup to start and duck for my main. I was very impressed with both the courses. My girlfriend had a cured salmon and Horseradish starter and pigeon for main. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Great selection of drinks including a good wine list and cocktails.Excellent service and very good measures for Covid19. Excellent social distancing and sanitizer in place. Also a QR code as you enter to digitally track and trace along with asking you to write your details down. I look forward visiting again

What can I say, the food is as good as always, cannot fault service and food under the current situation. Can't wait to come again. Chose the 6 course taster menu. Wow, will have that anytime. Forgot to take the pic of the macrel but you can imagine what it is like from the rest of the pics. First class as always. Well done Wild Mushroom xx
