Second Time Visit and Just Fab!My Room had an air cooler But i wasn't too fussed. Had a great Old days room and it was just Great. My last visit was a smaller room so this time they have upgraded me free and room speaks for itself.Usual Garden and Pool was over whelming this time. So we just managed to choose the right time to visit. all staff was great xx

One of the worst meals I’ve had. The steak both me and my guest ordered were pink and very tough, we ordered medium and they were definitely not. The staff were not very friendly and to be honest did not seem well trained. At almost £100 for two steaks we would definitely expect better. The quality of the food was horrible. To expand. They took a drink order from my guest but forgot about myself until I asked them for a drink. We have to ask them for steak knifes.. when my guest complainedto the manger that he had asked for his steak to be cooked medium and both are steaks were tough and not medium he replied staying the chef suggests the steak to be medium, both me and my guest looked at each other in pure confusion as anybody could see neither of the steaks were cooked to medium.. one really annoying part was when we were done three different members of staff came up and asked us what was wrong with our meal.. so weird and just not professional. They did remove the 12.5% service charge .. but I’m still thoroughly disappoint, the bill came to £130 for two starters, two steaks and one beer..

Amazing historic building beautiful gardens and swimming pool with sunbathing area. But quite expensive, there is a service charge on each bill, I do not mind this but only if services will be provided. So in the restaurant with service charges you expect what at least the wine will be pored by the waiting staff...

Afternoon Tea ReviewDefinitely not worth the money, there are so many other places where you can go for afternoon tea thats much better. Firstly the room we were in was dark and had a horrible musky smell to it, we then asked to change table to an area where its more light and they said they can't as the table is set for 3 not 4!!! I mean how long does it take to add a plate and teacup. The service was slow and when the sandwiches did come the bread was super dry, never experienced anything like it. It's just not worth £35/£37

The hotel and grounds were truly stunning, the rooms were fine however we were a family of 7 attending a wedding being held there. i booked 3x king comfy rooms and 1x luxury king comfy for myself for more money! The amenities in the King comfy rooms were of better standard, and the layout was far better than my luxury room. I had a wardrobe mirror which was behind the front door in a small corridor which was impossible when 2 people are trying to get dressed up for a wedding. The bathroom was minute and awkward to manoeuvre around (Bath towels and hand towels all on a rail directly next to the toilet basin. The breakfast hall only had available 2 seater tables and the staff would not let us pull the tables together to accommodate us all quoting us the hotel rules, which was very disappointing. The hotel was far from cheap and we booked this hotel back in December 2021 with a wedding guest discount to find it even cheaper the week prior to our arrival, we did query this with the manager but he informed us that we should of cancelled our original booking and rebooked. The wedding was great and the serving staff where excellent.

Spent a long weekend with family. One of the best stays we have had in the UK. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. The hotel is amazing, the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi are great for nearly any weather, and the gardens are breathtaking. Short drive from London. Can't wait to go back.

Didn't stay in a room. This place is amazing. My sister had her wedding reception here some 30 odd years ago and my friend had hers here recently. Doesn't feel as 'old' and atmospheric now sadly

A true gem in Surrey area. The place is absolutely amazing, very well looked after. Members of staff are very professional and friendly.Had a fantastic dinner, food is fresh and beautifully served. Great selection of wines. The place has so much character, feels like it takes you back in time. Beautiful labyrinth situated in the garden. The only minus place is close to highway, so if time spend in the garden it might get a bit noisy.Would come back for another weekend stay.

We decided to treat ourselves to afternoon tea at Great Fosters and we were very impressed with the warm, attentive service, the beautiful hotel and the wonderful afternoon tea (served in a cozy room with a roaring open fire). After we had finished, and were feeling quite full, we were invited to take a stroll out into the gardens afterwards which were absolutely stunning and definitely a must see!We will definitely be returning.

I recently had afternoon tea here with my wife for her birthday. Each and every member of the staff were friendly, kind and attentive. We loved each part of the Afternoon Tea and were even asked if we wanted any more of the delicious sandwiches (who am I to say no!?). My wife really enjoyed her birthday here and the staff made some extra touches for this event without being asked which really put the cherry on top of a great experience, thank you so much we will return!
