Big Fry in Runnymede

Didnt like the fish they used, everything was soggy, but they used to have halal chicken, sooo burgers it was.

We asked for only salt on everything and when we got home there was vinegar on it all. We don't like vinegar so chips went straight in the bin. Portions not as generous as before and varied in size greatly. Some cod bites were tiny. Obviously changed hands? Very disappointed we will not be back. 🤔🤔

Crispy batter without too much greaseChips - half decent portion, fluffy and well cooked.Lovely with some curry sauce and mushy peas.There is a good selection of Gluten free options... but only do that if desperate, as is a bit dry and flat (isn't all gluten free food)?

My wife gets a military discount here so it's her choice. However I'm always suspect of places that predominantly serve students, and this bore out a couple of nights back when I ordered in fish n chips. I can truly say that the fish was just fit for the bin, like scrapings off the fryer, chips OK but squashed together in a very cheap wrapper, no box etc, no napkins, no fork - all in all a whole load sloppy, but at a price of course!

Ordered on Uber ears today and I must say that is probably the best fish and chips I've had in the UK. So crispy and not overly oily and with the curry sauce. 👌🏽chefs kiss.

It’s a popular joint for takeaway, the cod tastes so fresh, and I love their salt and pepper squid.

A great fish and chippy. You can always tell a good chippy with how busy it is with customers. I'd ordered a large cod (£6.10) and large chips (£3), that was provided in box.

This is one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Huge portions good for sharing. It is pretty greasy, but it is fish n chips. The fries could be a bit more crispy.

Really lovely service. Food took a little long to make so they upped the sizes of the chips to make up for it. You can get student discount (with NUS). The chips where good.They do a veggie burger but I got cheesy chips.
