The Crown in Runnymede

Had a lovely lunch this afternoon to celebrate a birthday with the family.Service was brilliant, and the food even better and delicious.Highly recommend The Crown.Thank you to Harry and all of the team there for their warm service

I use the Crown pub regularly.The pub has got a lovely atmosphere and whenever I have been there it has never been that crowdedI usually sit out in their beer garden, whatever time of year as they have got outside heaters to keep the chill off.I find that all the staff that I have met are all friendly and helpful.Even though it is a "student pub" usually there is not a loud racket coming out of the speakers, unlike other "student pubs" that I have unfortunately been in

Loved it. Friendly welcoming atmosphere with attentive and pleasant staff. New manager Josh seems just as good as the old one, welcoming and smiley. Good food served promptly with a good choice of drinks and plenty of variety.

Had a good visit tonight. Pubs was heaving!! Staff were under pressure but still gave their best with a smile. Food was good but was impressed how well the young team coped. Will return soon.

We had an unexpected awesome lunch at the Crown, having initially planned to be elsewhere but finding out the place had shut down. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was impressive. Went for lunch with a couple of colleagues as we were at a training course near by. We were served by a really helpful server called Chanel - we were asking lots of questions regarding the area and she went out of her way to get the information we needed, which wasn’t in her job remit but made our day much easier. I do not live locally but would definitely return if in the area again. The food was well cooked and great value and the atmosphere was good.

Very welcoming and accommodating, staff are very friendly and constantly focused on ensuring everyone’s having a good time. 2for1 cocktails during the week is mint and live music every Fri & sat brings in a lot of people so it’s always lively! Definitely worth checking out 👌

Good food, great selection of beers, always good atmosphere. Particularly impressed with Archie’s service when we were there, keeping our drinks topped up during the quiz. Will definitely be back!

We were very impressed by the efficient and friendly service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble. I requested a quiet table if possible and felt that the table we had been given fitted that brief.The roast was extremely tasty with a generous portion and we all had extra "bottomless" Yorkies and gravy. Yummy!We will definitely recommend The Crown to others and will visit again when in the area.
