The fishermans net in Runnymede

The service was very friendly and the wait not to long but felt the food could be better. The chips were a bit dry and the spring roll wasn't the best I have had. But it did the job and filled us up.

The service last Tuesday was impeccable. I walk in. the scent of flourishing roses filled my moist nostrils. the lovely chap working out the front, was very, very charming 😋. I ordered my food and was told it would be 5 Mins so I waited. I was on the phone to my lovely, lovely, lovely 😏 wife. something about her voice.... anyways that's not the point. two mins go bye and I hear the young gent call me. my food is done! now I was pleasantly surprised however it did interrupt my call. not to worry, I had a delectable burger awaiting my succulent mouth. I open my box to see my burger and chips begging me to take a bite. 😋 nom. I take my first bite. the juices overflow and drip like a waterfall. delicious! the chips are practically on their knees begging me to eat them so I take a gob full. holy mother of Mary. they were THE BEST chips I have ever, EVER put in my mouth, in fact I would go as far as to say that they were the best thing that have ever been in my mouth, and I have put a LOT of stuff in there! (get your mid out the gutter, naughty 😉). the taste of the fresh chips and the moist, moist burger led me to heaven. the young man asks if I'm ok to which I reply no. he stutters and pauses. I continue... I'm better than ok, I'm brilliant, I'm amazing, I'm excellent, I feel the best I have in the past 65 years! the young man stood in awe as I left the establishment, best £8 I ever spent! as I left the smell of the roses left my noise nostrils and life returns back to normal, apart from I now have a warm fuzzy feeling inside... and, I go home.anyway to get to the point, 10/10 would come again.

Best fish and chips in New Haw worth a visit and always have my only favourite fish, rock salmon.

Since this changed hands it’s not the same food has gone down hill and check your order before you leave because they forget to put the food in the bag

Scampi tasted funny. So long to wait to be disappointed. Asked for curry gravey and got plan. You say I jumped the queue no it was my turn. You did not taste the scampi. You say I changed my mind was not correct. I was there to visit my friend

Had haddock and chips from here tonight, and it was the first time of using this chip shop.All the family enjoyed it, batter was nice and crispy, and not at all greasy aswell as the chips. I believe this has been taken over by new owners, very impressed with our first order. We will definitely return.
