Fantastic food and service. Great view of the river. Friendly people. Will definitely visit again

·

Friendly staff. Decent menu options. Indoor and outdoor seating. Situated by the river. Sunday roast is okay here.

·

Nice pub located just outside a residential area on a busy trading estate, backing on to the River Wey. Good amount of inside seating, a patio and a garden that utilises the riverside location well. Reasonable range of ales and lagers although only one ale available when our large group visited on a week day evening. Food available but only up to 20.30hrs at the time of our visit. Pleasant pub with multiple TV screens and gaming machines if that's your thing.

·

Lovely pub-, friendly staff and great selection on the menu- do a great deal on Friday for fish and chips … always amazing in the summer sat by the river wey enjoying a nice cold cider-

Went for a Sunday lunch - never again! Lamb was fatty goo, beef inedible, potatoes were soggy on the outside dry on the inside, veg was bland, mismatched cheap cutlery with no steak knife for the meat Spent £60 and left hungry!

·

Good pub food. The portion size is decent and. The river being right next to pub is a massive bonus for the view. Especially during sunny days the place looks great!

·

Great place for light refreshments in the afternoon. The bar staff are really welcoming and very helpful. The London pride is worth a go as is the 1664 lager. Defo recommend.

I used to frequent this pub a few years ago, but stopped when I moved away. It was always nice then, and having visited a few times recently, it just gets better! Lovely beer garden for those warm summer evenings, and while it's slightly smaller inside, its still a nice place to be when the colder weather comes! Food & drinks are always spot on. While it is tucked away on a trading estate, that doesn't detract from the overall atmosphere, I would urge anyone in the area to give it a go!

My new local! We only moved here a few months ago and everyone at the pub has made us feel most welcome. Great beers, amazing food and good people make this a quality spot, unfortunately work being the curse of the drinking classes has meant I haven't been down for a few weeks but I'm working on working less so that we can. Whether you want to sit in the lovely garden by the canal, watch the football or just chill out with some great food and company then this should be on your list of top pubs.

Came here as we were in the area and wanted a pub style late lunch. This place did not disappoint! Although there was a large party which made it quite busy at the bar and with the food the staff were friendly and professional. We did have an issue regarding cocktails however this was sorted by one of the ladies behind the bar as soon as and when our food came out we were very impressed. Portion sizes were big and prices were reasonable. My sister had the lamb shank where the meat just slid off the bone and the pie of the day was beautifully cooked with plenty of gravy. Would definitely recommend anyone to come here, a beautiful place even in the winter. It's right next to the canal so I can imagine the beer garden in the summer being a lovely setting. Thank you for a lovely atmosphere and brilliant afternoon. :)
