Dined here for lunch today, and had a fabulous meal. Extremely delicious and served with a smile. The atmosphere was fantastic and was an all round enjoyable experience. Will definitely dine here again soon. Thank you 🙏

Really nice pub. Good food and beer, friendly landlord. Enormous fireplace for cold winter nights and a decent beer garden for summer ones. Recommended.

Rang in advance to book a table and check what would be showing on TV then arrived and were told that the pub was closed for a private function.Owner was extremely rude and denied the telephone conversation had happened.Pub was cramped and looked like a dump. Would recommend travelling into Staines and visiting The Robin Hood instead.

We were delighted to hold our daughters Christening celebration party in The Red Lion Pub garden. Graham and his team were so friendly and helpful throughout. They organised an exclusive area of the garden for us to use and provided a lovely food buffet for our family and friends, which was very much enjoyed by all. Some of our guests had dietary requirements and Graham kindly organised for them to have an alternative. We were able to decorate with balloons, bunting, banners etc. Though it rained for some of the time, we had undercover shelter with patio heaters to keep our guests dry and warm which was brilliant and the children loved using the adventure playground. It is the perfect place to hold a celebration, I would highly recommend!Thank you so much Graham and team!

We were staying at Thorpe park on site a couple of weeks ago but didn't fancy eating there, so after a quick Google search of the area found The Red Lion. Very glad we did ! A lovely local pub atmosphere when you walk in, and on the other side a cosy yet smart dining area. The young man serving us (don't remember his name, sorry) was very welcoming and attentive. The menu is quite extensive and lots to tempt you with. All the food was delicious and excellent value for money. Highly recommended and we will most likely be back again later in the year when we plan to visit the park again.

Lovely pub, great foodVisited the Red Lion for the first time today and we were really impressed. The owner Graham was really friendly and welcoming and was great with our kids. Food was proper English grub, really tasty and reasonably priced. So impressed we’ve booked Sunday lunch next week. Also great beer garden which I’m sure will be great when the weather warms up.

5 of us went for a roast yesterday. We arrived at the table for 1:45 and ordered by 2pm. We left at 5pm, it should not take 3 hours to serve 2 courses. Where are all your staff??We received our roast after an hour. This is absolutely unacceptable. The older waitress is unbelievably rude tutting and rolling her eyes at us when asking where the food was, or to order more drinks. We then waited 45 minutes for tables to be cleared and given the desert menu. Empty drinks were never cleared away from the table and we waited another 30 minutes for the bill. When the waitress finally gave us our bill she had the cheek to ask us to pay the service charge and agreed with us that we shouldn’t. This is a restaurant that used to be lovely but seems to be lacking in both manners and staff. The food was okay, but came cold. The waitress is too rude and people at our table were scared to ask her for the food to be reheated given how rude she was to previous requests such as ordering the food. the service and rudeness is not worth visiting. I do not recommend here at all

Stopped by here for a quick bite to eat with the family. A local feel where the food was fantastic. A proper pub meal. The gentleman serving was very pleasant and made extra effort to look after our four year old. Would happily go again.

So proud of our neighborhood pub, the Red Lion, and its owner Graham. He went all in to create a wonderfully safe space abiding by all social-distancing rules. Great food. Great service. Great neighbors. Please book before you come to avoid the queue. And remember, Mon Tues Wed in August is 50% off "Eat Out to Help Out."

Had lovely Sunday roast & dessert. Was in a big group of 14 & we all got our food within a few mins of each other. Roast beef, Yorkshire etc... Roast choices were pork, lamb, chicken or beef. Had the chocolate bomb and ice cream for dessert. Dog friendly pub. Outside smoking area is a huge wooden structure, pool table & lots of tables. Also a grassed seating area & small kids park. Big car park, staff friendly and attentive
