The Victoria Pub in Runnymede

This was my first visit here. Arrived with my wife and daughter, without a reservation. The staff were very accommodating in finding us a table. The service was good, and the food was excellent 👌. Will definitely revisit.

Our first visit to The Victoria since it's reopening under new ownership.The re-vamped interior is a marked improvement. Our seating was comfortable. We sat in the bar area as dogs are allowed there (but not in the restaurant.The menu is interesting, not too fussy. Sadly, no pies are on it.Table service was excellent, with the food arriving within 15 minutes of placing the order. The size of the portions were enough for us and the quality of what was served was very good.There's a decent selection of beers on tap. I can't pass a comment on the wines available.Overall, a very enjoyable meal and not overly expensive.We'll certainly return.

The foods are delicious and very big portions. And the service are impeccable 👍🏻 Highly recommend.

Food selection of beers and lagers. Mainly went for the food as we had heard good things.Starter, sharing camembert, was enough for 1 person like me. Tasty and warm foodMain, pork tomahawk steak. Tasty, nice rind, excellent chips.Pudding, apple crumble. Roof of mouth burning hot but very tasty after a couple of minutes cooling down.Very good staff considering how busy it was. Would recommend, and would eat there again.

First time here and really liked the pub. Food lovely and generous portions and great ale such a neck oil! Staff very friendly and parking is easy so looking forward to returning soon I hope.

Amazing pub. The food was some of the best pub food I have ever had and the staff are very attentive and super friendly. Couldn't recommend more!

Poor service from start to finish. Visited the Victoria on a sunny sunday afternoon (27 Feb at 12:45PM) with the plan of sitting outside as it was a beautiful afternoon. While they were full inside, none of the staff looked interested in serving me when I told them I wanted to sit outside. The frustrating thing was I was told to use the side access to place my orders as there was no table service outside (which wasn't the issue). I did ask check with the staff, if they could open the back doors and was told no I couldn't despite it starting to get busier by 1:00PM in the afternoon. The food was average at best. The patty of the beef burger was dry and the Nut Roast wasn't the best. I felt disappointed with the overall experience.

Nice pub with a great selection of beers. Not much bar seating though! Would like to go back and try the food, as looked and smelled amazing!

Nice pub atmosphere, quite pricey. I didn't like any of the courses which is unusual for me. The salmon main course was absolutely insipid and the salt cellar was not working. My husband's 10oz steak was nothing to write home about at £26. Nice chips. Uninspiring food generally. Won't be going back.

First visit since it was refurbished and very impressed. It was pretty dire before. Really tastefully furnished with lovely staff.Just had a drink this time but will go back for food.
