Friendly, great staff. Some of the chairs in the restaurant are heavily strained so need a good clean. I found one that was OK. Overall a good experience.

Where do I start understaffed and overpriced? From before lockdown, the portions are now a lot smaller.We had big gaps between courses and getting the bill. We even had to ask for the bill.Looking around the restaurant, 2 tables got the wrong food, and one got their main before before the starter.Will be a long time before we go back .Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back yesterday 20th JuneStill running on too few staff so gaps too big between courses

Nice relaxed atmosphere, comfy, clean, and nice drinks and friendly staff. I had the roast beef which was OK except for the extra chewy sprouts! That's the reason I only gave 4 stars lol!

Used to be great service by Nadine when she was there, when she's not the service is dreadful. Walked in and stood at reception, no one came to greet us, one guy saw us waiting and walked straight past then said he'd "be there in a minute" he then went and spoke to another table and stood there happily chatting to them leaving us still standing at reception for a further 5 minutes, eventually a woman server came over and seated us at a table to which the seats had horrible old stains on them. We ordered our drinks then our food, the food took ages to arrive, I had to chase it up. I chose the full rack of BBQ Ribs, I've had the Ribs several times before but this time it was spicy, the menu didn't say anything about there being spices in it, they blamed the supplier that the ingredients have changed. Well if ingredients change you're supposed to let customers know and list that on your menu, what if a customer is allergic to one of those spices, then you will have another case of Natasha's law on you hands. We then asked for the bill when we had finished and when we gave a £20 note, we were left waiting for our change for 10 minutes. The service is absolutely shocking !!!

Not impressed i went in after 4.30pm i was not very hungry so wanted a light meal so had the offer on before 5pm i ordered chilli con carne . So disappointed when it arrived there was a fist full of rice with little sauce approximately 1 tablespoon no meat.I asked the waitress when she came back to check why there was no meat and a only onions in the sauce she said unfortunately as its the value meal thats all you get..i told her i wasn't happy that i was paying £6.99 for this no effort made meal she offered me chips i declined. I paid the bill and walked out!! Cant believe this is what you get from beefeaters menu..it was more like chef was lazy!.

Smallest portion of sharing Nacho's I've ever seen.Menu said triple fried chips they where frozen chips not handmade.Asked for med well steak and it was well done so was a bit dry.Not the biggest portions either for what you pay.Paid extra for salad which was a small bowl.Was staying in the hotel so that was the only reason we ate there, probably wouldn't eat there again.Could of gone elsewhere like a local Indian restaurant and not paid much more for better food.I had to ask for my salad and my sauce as they didn't bring it.Waited over an hour as well for food

We let the staff know we were in a bit of a hurry due to an event we were going to, but despite not being very busy, service was still very slow. we had the wrong thing brought for my daughter and I asked for gravy, which didn't arrive until after we had finished eating. the food was good and it was pretty reasonably priced.

Good price for what you get. Has a selection of cereals, toast and croissants, with juice and coffee/tea available.As usual with cheap pub meals, although the food arrived in good time it was served luke warm. Table not wiped down, cutlery not properly washed. Not bad for the price and the service was polite and quick. Just a matter of warmer food and cleaner tables.

First time we have been here pre covid and we're disappointed with the size off the portions for the price. The potatoe dippers used to come in a bowl and the portion was massive... £5.29 for a portion that wouldn't feed a child. Sat waited for almost an hour to pay. 3 waiting staff on a busy night and they were rushed off of their feet... usually come away stuff but unfortunately not this visit! Vert disappointed!!

I had a meal here yesterday and I have to say the experience was wonderful. I had heard waiting times were long but my booking was at 20:30 and I only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. My server (Masie) was polite, informative and just amazing, can't praise her enough! The food was delicious, piping hot and even though Masie said there might be a short wait due to the order system being down, our food came very swiftly. I'd definitely recommend and will definitely come again
