Bengal Lancer in Rushmoor

Tried and tested many Indian Resteraunts I can honestly say this is the best tasting food. Resteraunt looks a bit dated inside but don't judge a book … i used to live close by , but now have to drive 25 mins to get there but it is so worth it !

This is the first time we've tried Bengal Lancer tonight after knowing about the place for years. First class food - no grease in sight. Lovely meal - our new, regular curry house now 👌👍👌

Food was excellent, good service, restaurant was quiet at the time we went which suited us but I'm sure it would be busier later in the evening.

Great service and efficiency for our large crowd. All dishes I had were a little sweet for my taste but may have chosen badly

Worst Chicken peices in soup I have ever eaten in my life. And I eat a lot of curries. I normally make my own but because my friend was visiting I treated (more like punished) him to a take away. Where do I start: breads were average at best, then the the curry was just an ill flavoured soup with 4 chunks of chicken per portion, oh, and a peice of tomato, WFT. No texture at all, the chicken was supposed to be tikka, it wasn't. I will not use this place again. Lesson learned. There is no way that a chef made this curry. By the way, it all went in the bin, that's how bad it was. If you want me to come down and teach your so called chef how to make a Madras, I will happily guide him through the process. But if not, here is a tip, your supposed to cook out the base gravy so it reduces, not serve it like soup🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Do not go here, I repeat, do not go here.

Great evening, the staff were really friendly. The food was super tasty, and they had magners as well which was nice. And really good value as well. Very happy and we would definitely go again 👍👍

We have eaten in at Bengal Lancer a couple of times, but had a take away last night. Delicious food as always, really hot, and ready to collect exactly on time. Always a warm welcome. If you are nervous of eating out (although all the necessary precautions are being taken) , why not have a take away. I cannot recommend it too highly - the food is absolutely delicious, and certainly the best take away I have experienced in the area.
