Booked a table for dinner with my family telling them that we would need a high chair. Arrived to find out they only have 3 high chairs for a restaurant that could easily fit 150 people, if not more and is targeted at family's. Long story short, all the highchairs were already being used so I went to pizza express instead.

Not my first visit here although the first for a while. The place was clean, good wheelchair access although we struggled a little with the rather small disabled toilet. Food was as expected, staff very polite and helpful, all in a pleasant meal and good value for money. Will certainly visit again next time I am in the area

Came here for mothers day and really wish we hadn't bothered. It was a long wait (only an hour) for below any kind of standard food. The beef and ale pie looked, smelled and tasted like dog food. The gravy was like water. The mash tasted old. The peas were fine though so that's something. This place had improved but appears to have declined again. Avoid unless you can find absolutely nowhere else to eat. Just be prepared to ve very disappointed

The website advertised a carvery for our booking. When we arrived, the carvery was ending even though the website was still advertising it for that time. Our party of 8 then ordered from the menu. Everyone's order had something of very poor quality. The fish and chips had soggy limp batter on the fish. The gammon steak was tasteless and rubbery. The chicken curry only had 2 tiny pieces of chicken in it. The Eaton mess didn't have any strawberries in it (only raspberries). The staff were reasonably apologetic for the very poor results, but could not provide a quality meal. We were very disappointed and will never return.

I recently visited the Aldershot restaurant with my mum for a birthday meal. We had planned to go the theatre after our meal so got to the restaurant with 90 minutes in hand so we did not have to rush.Ordered our starters which came through in time with no issues. Our starters were cleared and we waited for our main meals. 45 minutes later it arrived (only after we had chased the ons member of staff on duty)We had to rush and my mum had to leave half of hers as she cannot eat fast and we would have been late to the theatre.Awful service with no apology.I have written to head office to be told thanks for the feedback.Evening ruined!

Service was slow yesterday. The food was luke warm when it eventually arrived. The portions were small, some of the starter plates hadn't been cleared away when the main course arrived and they were still not taken away. The function hall was very cold, no heating on at all. The waitress offered to find us a table in the main restaurant but every thing was set up for the event with balloons and banners etc. Not a good first impression for us

Staff are helpful and friendly. From meal ordering to receiving is really quick. The place is warm and welcoming and very clean. Unfortunately the menu is small and not appealing. But that's brewers fayre fault not the staff. I arrived as the cooked breakfast buffet was being put out but it was all cold. My toast was the warmest thing... 3 mornings on the trot. On my last morning I just had bacon and scrambled egg. Very poor from a brand I regularly use.

Booked a table for 6pm to beat the rush. Turned up to a 3/4 empty restaurant to be told immediately that they would not be able to serve us for over an hour. I am sure the companies that own restaurants like this must be delighted their feckless staff are essentially turning away business. Seems furlough got too comfortable for some people.

Visited for fathers day, apart from forgetting the carrots on the roast which was quickly rectified we were very impressed- food was a little slow to come out but we didn't see how busy the rest of the restaurant was. Highly recommend the roast, I went large and added cauliflower cheese and struggled to finish my meal!Wanted something sweet so ordered mini pudding and a latte

Go here fairly regularly but on this occasion the service and knowledge was poor. They weren't busy but we were seated for 20 minutes before someone came over to take the drinks order. My partner ordered the mixed grill, they came back to say they'd run out of rump steak and would substitute with another steak. They then came back and said she couldn't have the mixed grill as they only had sirloin steak left and wouldn't substitute the rump for that.
