Dan's Fish Bar in Rushmoor

Sent my husband for some chips to go with our dinner as tired busy day usually cook my own I was so shocked when he brought them hone they were white not even a little bit brown I phonned to talk to staff I was laughed at when I said I would knave a honest review I was then offered more chips I don't think so I'll not ever go there again wast of time and petrol had to cook my own anyway staff needs training only tried to be helpfull after said would leave review

Quick easy order. Will be back again. Only down side is partner prefers a more crispy batter but will request on next order

Dans fishbar are amazing!!! Food is always hot and very generous with portion sizes!! We do not go to any other fish/chip shop 😁 drivers that deliver are always friendly and polite.Owned by the son of the lemon plaice so nice to know standards are still in place!!

This is a fish and chip shop, the food was great, hot and plenty of it at a fair price and fast service.

Update 29th Oct 2021Thought I'd try it again as the original owners are back in charge. Was impressed, lovely cooked fish and decent portion size. Only 1 size fish now but I think that will help with maintaining consistent quality. Well done Dan's I'll be back in a few weeks to try again. 4 stars, maybe 5 if the next visit is just as good.Fancied some fish and chips last Friday (10th Jan), only ever get one portion and share with my wife as we are not big portion eaters. I was really disappointed with the large cod it used to be much bigger and also I cant say for sure but it just did not seen fresh considering they say all if freshly cooked to order. The fish seemed really dry and parts of it tasted stale. The chips were ok. We used to go to Dan's quite a lot in the past but we have also noticed a huge drop in quality, portion size and become over priced. Dont think I'll be heading back now will drive 2 minutes further and go to Frimley. Sorry Dan's but since you opened up on Farnborough high street you've seriously neglected an already falling service at this shop and it really shows. I was the only customer in as well which I've never experienced there before especially considering 7.45pm on a Friday.

Chips are good, not sure about the pie I think they microwave. Much longer wait than the 5 mins he said. They are very busy with orders.

First time ordering tonight, but definitely not the last! Celebratory family fish supper and what a treat it turned out to be. Cod & chips cooked absolutely perfectly, very generous portion sizes, perfection!😊 Definitely coming back!

Not overly impressed unfortunately. The chips were burnt/over cooked sadly, my Husband found a hair on his chips which put him the rest of his dinner :/. The battered sausages and onion rings were good but we have had better.
