COME HERE EVEN JUST FOR THE AMAZING DOUGHNUTS!This place has become my favourite in the area of 75miles ( next best one is in Oxford & central Southampton).Recommended:- pate and hams selection & a mustard that beats all others.- cheese selection (gouda & others).- flavoursome tomatoes (don't buy from supermarkets, they are low on micronutrients).- pickles selection - recommend trying fresh malosolne.- the best fresh doughnuts, can be pre-ordered, that are SO ADDICTIVE.- fresh smoked fish (delivered Tues/Thurs? ask at counter)- varied selection of cakes ( & famous heavenly Prince Polo bar that conquers hearts of all)- baby food & healthy snacks.

The members of staff are very friendly. There is always a vast selection of meat and cheese. It is a nice place to attend if you want a meat and/ or cheese roll. I cannot think of anything negative to say about this place. I just wish that it opened on Sunday, but I guess the staff have to take a well-deserved break sometime. I like the place because the members of staff are really friendly and put a great deal of effort into serving people properly. Furthermore, they always have a good selection of meats. The shop also sells fresh vegetables, which are lovely. It creates an excellent opportunity to try Polish food. I have yet to try something that I do not like.***I have recently attended this place once again and I am impressed with the level of service. If you want a lovely roll, I recommend this place.***

Small space but huge variety of products. Always great service!

·

The original Local Polish Deli, great place for all your Polish meats and sausages and fresh bread and cakes delivered daily. Who cares if they don`t speak perfect English, they don`t ask Tesco staff to speak Polish do they?Great place & great staff

Good polish food, a bit small but not bad.

Expired or almost expired products, greatly overpriced. Recent shopping 28/12/2019 - sour cream expiry date... 28/12/2019. Would you think it was discounted ?? Nope - full price. Indeed I have not checked the expiry date... My fault.Cheese cake, apparently fresh on the very day. Well - its freshness was only justified by the fact that on the very next day (29/12/2019) it has gone in full mould, although kept in the fridge in its plastic container. It could have been freshly delivered, but not so much fresh I'd guess. Possibly in transport for like 2 weeks before.... Cannot really show the taste of the cheese... Believe me it was bad.My wife bought some pate shortly before Christmas. Gone bad in just literally 2 days.Generally speaking - every single time I happen to buy anything there (thankfully not so often) - there is an issue with. So I would strongly advise some more diligence from the staff as well as customer to be thoroughly checking the items they are intending to purchase. At the end of the day it is the staff' responsibility in the first place to make sure they are selling fresh products, well before their expiry.

You can bring your own containers and shop plastic free at the deli counter. The resz of the shop offers your Polish favourites, if you have any, but most of them tightly packed up in plastic.

Definitely my favourite Polish Deli in the area. Very good selection of products, and if something is missing staff will take your suggestions and try and order it in the future. They also do money transfers and send packages. The only issue is parking during rush hours, but that's to be expected in any town centre.
