I visited on a Thursday Afternoon/Evening and was very impressed. A decent menu with a variety of options and quite reasonable too especially if using their weekday main meals deal (can be found on their Facebook page). My meal was a decent portion size and very tasty. The Pub has had an extensive makeover recently and looks very attractive. There is not a huge amount of tables so I recommend booking ahead for more busier times (7pm onwards and weekends). Overall a very pleasant and friendly local Pub and highly recommend.

Always great here - friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price, nice and warm :) music nights are great and fantastic value also.

This was our first visit to the Plough & Horses since the new management took over. On arrival we were shown to a quite small table at first, as there were 4 of us we requested a larger table after our drinks were served.This was done after a short wait our dinner was served, the food was good apart from some of the vegetables being slightly under cooked.The staff were excellent, the new decor was great.All in all we were very pleased and will be returning

Great character, friendliest landlord ever, who takes pride in his customer service and his food. Huge portions, great selection of choices including vegetarian and vegan options, loved the vibe and character and loved our visit. Recommend the Esk Valley Sauvignon!! Will return.
