The Swan Inn in Rushmoor

This was a great pub! We were looking for a place to eat and saw this was in the area. We walked in without a reservation and were told we had to wait for at least 40 min, but after we ordered our drinks, a table opened up! The table was properly cleaned and menus were handed out. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated.I had the baked camembert and the fish and chips. it tasted delicious, but let me warn you, when you order the camembert, you get a whole camembert! That is enough for two! And be carefull when you scoop the cheese with your bread, they put in a whole garlic clove! Besides that, I had the best fish and chips!I would gladly come back!

Really nice pub with welcoming staff and great food. Despite being by the main road and airport there is a really nice and quiet outside area at the back. The menu is a mixture of classics and Greek dishes. We had the skewers and they were lovely and fairly priced too. Highly recommended

Amazing food , reccomend the beef dish , very polite staff , great service ... did I mention the food .... and also great value for money too 👍

This is a great pub, we called in after visiting the adjacent aviation museum and was impressed by the atmosphere & decor of the place. The pub is spacious and the staff were welcoming & friendly, great drinks selection and the food excellent quality. Lovely outdoor area at the rear with ample seating and a reasonably sized car park alongside the pub. Highly recommended!

Wish I had known or this excellent Gastropub sooner, I have been paying far more at local hotel for disappointing food. Great choice of drinks, very helpful staff, great atmosphere. Love it!

Book for Sunday lunch 4 adults and 2 children. They e-mailed not long before we were due to go for lunch. They didn’t even bother to ring, that method of contact would have been more immediate and it would have given us slightly more time to find an alternative option. Now we are frantically looking for another restaurant and everything already booked.Not very impressed with the Swan. They don’t even answer their phone

Very friendly staff, we booked a igloo experience and the food was nice and hot. Staff were put often to clear stuff away and take orders. Igloo was heated well with plenty of blankets and cushions which was ideal for January.Drinks selection was very good, lots of beers on tap and a varied choice of Gin. Winter theme was quite cool, with ski equipment and a makeshift snowscape on display. Wonder if the theme will be changing when spring or summer set it.Very different to other pubs in the area.

Attended a post funeral private gathering today. The staff were friendly and professional. The buffet was beautifully presented and delicious. Quite transformed from the rather 'tired' pub with a 'rough' reputation it once had. Well done indeed.

Really enjoyed a Sunday afternoon dinner with their winter menu and Apres Ski theme. Bigger portions than expected, and really tasty dishes (camembert and kontosouvli). Staff did all we asked of them and were helpful, so nothing to dislike overall!
