Chow's in Sevenoaks

I don't often give 5*, but I have been eating Chinese food for over 50 years, in many countries and I honestly can't remember one better than last nights. Thank you David.

Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Went early so not crowded. Food was fresh and portions were big enough. Abit pricey but well worth it. Highly recommended.

We have eaten in Chows for over 25 + years and always had fantastic food and excellent service. I have to say that the amazing set menu which we had on Christmas eve was the best food food we have ever been served and of course the service was amazing as always. Wonderful restaurant. Great and friendly service. It serves well to dietary requirements, such as eating gluten free. The food there is superb too, delicious and incredibly well done. I would say it's one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever visited. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you like Chinese, but have specific dietary requirements.

Booked a Birthday lunch for myself my wife and my mother-in-law for 12.30 on 20th December. Turned up only to find restaurant closed! No sign in window explaining why they were not open after I had booked over a month ago.Absolute rubbish! Didn't even receive a courtesy phone call prior to us turning up to say they would be closed, for whatever reason. Total disgrace if this how they treat booked customers.Will not be going again. They have lost what could have been regular customers if they had any customer care. Clearly they have not.Would certainly not recommend and would also suggest anyone in same position simply walk across the road to the Rendezvous Bistro where we all had a superb lunch with really great food and wine at reasonable cost and where (without a booking) we were greeted with friendly smiles and courteous service!

What can I say? Fantastic service. Fantastic authentic food cooked fresh. Owner is lovely and looked after us really well. Our Malaysian Chinese side of the family loved it too - so that's a pretty good endorsement! If you like Chinese food you will not be disappointed. Go. Trust me.
