Authentic choices of French dishes BUT my dish was not as described on the menu - I ordered the Paillard salad (main): chicken breast, french beans, hazelnuts, endive, lettuce and croutons - however it came with spinach and red onion instead of French beans and lettuce! And no hazelnuts! When I asked about it, I was brought a small dish of ground nuts.The dessert menu was misleading - I ordered the 3 truffles to pair with a hot drink (and I chose mint tea) - they wanted to charge me separately for each - though they did correct that on the bill.I would try the restaurant again, or another branch of it, to see if the chef can give a customer what is advertised on the menu.

The Food was great and so was the service. Very friendly staff.

Service was great. The food was wonderful and the wine went down oh so easily. Could have stayed a lot longer.

Visited this Cote twice so far this year and on both separate occasions the service speed has left us thinking ‘where’s our food?’ ☹️ Staff are very friendly and accommodating but perhaps we had two unlucky occasions where we were left too long.

Enjoyed our meals, like the restaurant.5 stars on this occasion because an heroic member of staff found the phone, complete with credit cards etc, that my wife had left behind, tracked us down to our rather remote address by looking at the driver's licence, and delivered the phone to our door, late at night on a damp Xmas eve. Well done sir! You set Xmas off on a good note.

Ordered vegan and vegetarian breakfast with two cappuccino’s.Vegan breakfast came out with poached eggs on it. Had to be sent back.Coffees were lattes not cappuccino’s, had to be sent back.No toast came on vegan plate, advertised with sourdough toast (at this point I gave up trying to get the correct items), the “sourdough” on the other plate was a slice of white fluffy bread not too dissimilar to hovis.All in all very disappointing, shocked to see how busy it was bearing in mind the end product. Won’t be returning in a hurry.

A solid dining experience. Good quality food. Well priced. Excellent service. If you're unsure where to go for a lunch or dinner and want something different from Italian or Asian, Cote is an excellent choice.

Seriously can't fault it. All quality ingredients, treated with live and care resulting in beautifully flavoured food. We had the Champagne Breakfast and the Beef Cheek. Outstanding.

We had a really happy dinner. We were moving on so chose from the set menu. I couldn't fault my meal and my six companions were pleased too. The staff were pleasant and attentive, they mixed cocktails not on the menu. A good experience.
