Hilal Restaurant in Sevenoaks

Lovely relaxed lunch with friends, usual excellent food and great service. One of my favourite places to eat.

Please avoid, especially if you have children who you don't want to (or shouldn’t have to) witness the rude waiter.After looking at the menu and seeing the prices we decided not to eat here, instead we decided to go to the cafe next door ( which was great by the way & half the price of his pancakes 😉) but we had the most awkward experience as the waiter from hilal had his eyes constantly on us, making comments to us (calling us pr**ks) and making my children feel very worried & uneasy.

Just back from a fantastic meal for husbands birthday. Food was amazing one of the best meals we have had out in a long time. The restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. Service was very friendly and swift. A nice touch in the bathroom; a little wooden box with free feminine hygiene products in was really thoughtful. Will definitely be returning

Had a lovely meal here despite the fact they were closing not long after we arrived and had not booked. Will definitely come here again

Food was exceptional.. was looking for a quick lunch date and found this gem. Amazing food with a great variety to suit anyone. Will definitely be coming back with friends and family! Very prompt and kind service :)

Great food, good service, perfect after hike around Otford, conveniently located minutes from station. The aroma of the chargrilled meat is just irresistible.Came back a month later, still nice and friendly.

We hosted our wedding reception at Hilal. It was great. Sez and his team couldn't have worked harder to make it a wonderful event.We squeezed in all 36 guests and a small band. The food was plentiful and tasty and the party was alot of fun with space to dance and chat inside or out.

what can I say apart from excellent. I went their for a coffee early this morning (16/06) as I had to hang around for a train. My coffee was below minimum card spend and who carries cash these days? Offered to go to a cash point. Owner Said no ‘drop to me another time’ I haven’t heard that in years. Ended up staying for 3 coffees. Service excellent, staff excellent and I have ate their many times, food excellent. 👌
