If you are staying at Heaver Castle, I’d definitely recommend coming here for dinnerIt’s only a short walk through the gardens.Beautifully laid out with lots to look at.Nice and spacious seating so you aren’t right next to the next table while you eat.Fast service, friendly staff, nice drinks and delicious food. The staff allowed me to bring a birthday cake in for my sonThey set it all up and all came out and sang for himIt was so lovely.Definitely recommend coming here for dinner

The service and hospitality at this establishment is great. The waitress really was lovely and accommodating. We brought a cake for a birthday which they lit and brought to us at the end of the evening. The food was delicious and well priced.I recommend booking well in advance as I understand it is extremely popular! We booked about six weeks in advance. Contacting the venue was slightly challenging.

Had a lovely roast and a pint of cider. Really great and extensive menu so everyone will find something they like. Definitely recommend.

Lovely pub. Great food. Right opposite Hever Castle so you can pop out of the Castle grounds and go back in. Friendly helpful staff.

Lovely pub with Tudor interior, wood panels, fire burning, wooden tables, candlesticks such a great ambience. Food was pub classics cooked to perfection at reasonable prices. Fish and chip and pork belly was to die for. Service was top notch and very attentive. Having just hiked in the mud, the staff found us a table even without a booking. Wine list was small and interesting, very well priced. A lovely country pub with a twist. Cannot recommend enough.

Was looking forward to sitting in the garden on a wonderfully fresh and sunny day at the end of Feb.On sitting down in the garden (planning to get our own drinks from the bar) a waitress rushed out to inform us that the garden was closed. Not closed for service but closed for seating.. despite not having enough room in the pub anyway.Instead of sitting in the warm sun we were instead invited to sit under cover and freeze our socks off on the shade. Very disappointedAlso we were informed there was no table service outside, but as we sat eating our packet of crisps from the bar, a roast dinner was delivered to another customer sitting outside. So I suppose they just meant no table service for us.On the plus side, he looked like he really enjoyed it. Must be nice

Great pub with fantastic food and drink menus. Loads of variety and the best place to eat when in the Hever Castle area.Definitely make a reservation if you plan on dining in and there is a bar area for bar snacks and drinks. The menu for food is superb and I had breaded whitebait as a starter and I was really impressed, lightly coated and very chunky fresh fish. The menu has lots of choices for meat and vegetarian dishes and you will be well looked after by the helpful staff. For main I had pork belly and it was great with a side of vegetables. Cesar salad was good and overall I would highly recommend the location.Great drinks too. Lovely venue with big garden in summer

Managed to get a last minute booking after visiting the Hever Christmas Fair. The pub was packed! Very easy online booking system that took only a few moments. The service and and all the front of house were very attentive. Food was equally as good. Portions were generous but not messy. A couple of drinks, a shared starter and very filling mains came to only £40 (including service charge). Would revisit in a heartbeat.

Great Tudor style old pub. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in years. The desserts were also fantastic. The staff were really attentive and polite too. Super busy at weekends so try and book ahead. 100% coming back here.
