Very well looked after by the staff, and the food was well presented and delicious.

Nice pub, great food with generous portions, friendly staff. They even agreed to split our bill per person, which many wouldn't. Fish and chips were great, and there were vegetarian options too. Attached are photos of the haddock fishcake, and the (HUGE) fish finger sandwich.

Had my birthday lunch here. Cosy atmosphere, welcoming staff. Chose a Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Good quality and reasonably priced. Varied wine list at affordable prices. One suggestion... offer gravy on the side not everyone likes lots of it.

Very friendly staff, felt very welcome on arrival, booked table was ready and clean. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. Good variety of food available and was well cooked and tasty, drinks were, as expected prompt and good. Well kept beer with good variety available. Thoroughly enjoyed this, good traditional decor and atmosphere. Happy to go again!

Had a fantastic lunch time meal. Menu choices offered something for everybody. The staff were friendly and helpful. Have already recommended numerous times and can't wait to visit again!

Absolutely brilliant service with the biggest welcoming smile you could ever want. Went there after our original plans changed and could not have been made more welcome. Superb food and exceptional service made it an evening to remember. First class.

A big thank you to Paul, we were a last minute reservation and accommodated us with a our wee lady!So we haven’t had much luck with Pub Sunday roasts of late.Well this place is amazing.From the minute you see it you will be impressed. A traditional country pub with open fires and gorgeous garden. All the staff were so pleasant and helpful.After all that then there is the food.. roast lamb was amazing and all the sides were exquisite. A good glass of red or a cheeky pint they have it all!Thank you for such an amazing Sunday lunch. The bar has truly been set high by this venue.
