Rendezvous in Sevenoaks

Disappointing Bloody Mary (£10) tasted only of tomato juice with little or no seasoning and was overflowing when brought to our table which made a mess. Prawn cocktails were plain and uninteresting. Seafood linguine awful - fish was hard and tasteless, pasta stodgy and ‘sauce’ it all floated in tasted of curry. Our guests ordered calves liver which was good. The final waitress serving us was so slow dressing other tables and not looking our way that we didn’t stay for coffee. We would not complain at the time as we had guests and weren’t prepared to embarrass them. The hefty bill which included 12.5% service was very poor value for money.

It was very good , Large.portiond of food but one bad thing!?; .It is very expensive compared to a Weatherspoons but that is my opinion . Good for Mother's Day weekend Lunch or Brunch or Dinner 🥣🥗

Although my prawn cocktail had a very different flavour to the sauce than I am used to there were plenty of prawns. I followed with a chicken dish which was full of flavour but the green beans were rock hard and a bit stringy! A nice feeling in the restaurant and obviously quite popular.

Having checked the Saturday opening times on website which stated restaurant was open from 9.00am until 10.00pm we travelled for about an hour and arrived about 3.15pm only to find restaurant closed until early evening.This was very disappointing and a waste of our time.Please update your website with accurate information, thank you.The restaurant looked very inviting from the outside but , sadly, we never got to experience the food.

The food is fabulous. The service is very courteous. Proper French Brasserie, but since it's in England and not France, expect to pay mid to high end prices. I recommend the Salmon, the Steak and we both had the chocolate fondant with icecream for dessert... exquisite.
