Spice Lounge in Sevenoaks

Was a lovely restaurant with great food at great price & our local place we visited once a week & sometimes more. Sadly after 25 years...Spice Lounge has closed. Hopefully it will continue as an Indian, but you Ali, will be very missed! ☹

I hadn't been for a couple of years and because it was recommended by friends I thought I'd give it a go. Excellent decision. Warm and friendly greeting, pleasant aroma and unobtrusive music. Good start. The menu is varied but not ridiculous like some places. I tried a new dish which for £11 including rice was very good value and tasty. I was assured the chicken tikka masala was excellent. Well worth a visit. Thanks to the team at Spice Lounge.

Very poor - extremely bland, no spice at all, and very oily. Possibly the worst Indian food we’ve ever tried. Never again.

I have lived in the area for about 9months and have walked past this Indian lots of times and never really noticed it. Last Thursday, approx 7pm, my fiancée and I fancied going for a curry and decided to test this place out. First impressions weren’t amazing; it doesn’t look that great from the front, there was only one other couple in there and the wine list is laminated (I hate this!!!)...but.....the service was spot on, the atmosphere was fun with quiet 80’s music in the background, and the food was amazing; really good, I can’t rate it highly enough, and it was very reasonably priced. Such an enjoyable evening.....we will be back. The sort of place you can just pop out for a quick curry, any night of the week!

Very quick service. Reasonable prices and food was great. Shame they didn't have a set meal option.

Food was never delivered although paid in advance over the phone. When visited the restaurant to claim a refund they didn't even try to make an effort to apologise and restore our bad experience. The restaurant was empty that Friday night so they didn't even have an excuse. Appalling! Will never call/visit again.

Very nice food. I would say the best food in Kent. My wife did not like any other restaurant in Sevenoaks. Their receipes are really special. Every dish has its own great taste. Highly recommended!

Excellent food and fantastic service. And, as vegetarians, the menu is varied with a wide selection at a very reasonable price.
