The wine tour and tasting were excellent. Mixed feelings on the restaurant unfortunately. We said we wanted to sit in the shade as it was over 30 degrees outside but were sat in the sun and told there is no other option. There was a few tables in the shade that remained free the whole time we were there. Service was slow, 45 mins wait for the mains and by the time the food came I didn’t feel like eating as I felt like I have had a sun stoke. Lovely setting indeed but a bit more care could be beneficial.

Mixed feelings in many ways,.... the place feels disjointed in terms of ambiance; upmarket restaurant next to brewery. I think the restaurant is the looser. Once on the restaurant terrace, it's nice enough: tables well spaced and pleasant views, as long as you don't look left and over the vast restaurant/brewery joint car park. Perhaps some screening (laurel/privet hedge) would be a good idea. I had the squid starter, which was nicely cooked, and the ice cream was delicious, with lovely little meringues and marshmallows. However, the main monk fish dish was pretty disappointing. The fish was a good sized portion and well cooked itself, but the sauce was SO salty! I couldn't taste any of its ingredients, just the salt. The experience was likely made worse by the fact that I has a side order of fries, which were themselves loaded with salt flakes. I'm someone who likes salt, but that sauce was just too much. I was expecting to want to soak the sauce up with the fries, not scrape it OFF the fish to make more edible. The staff were friendly, polite and professional. So, 4 stars overall. Would I go back 🤔,... probably,....but not for a while.

Attended my daughter's wedding reception yesterday and it was wonderful! Squerryes has the most amazing views, especially for photos, the food was awesome and the service fantastic. Nicki our waitress worked so hard on her own and was always ready to meet everyone's needs. She took the time to get to know a few of the guests names and made the service personal. The day proved to be everything the couple wanted and provided them and the guests with some amazing memories. Thank you so much Squerryes.

Visited in May 2021. Overall a positive experience. Would recommend to friends. Lovely location, the atmosphere is relaxed and the terrace is perfect to enjoy a nice lunch in the sun ☀️(5/5).Overall food is good and well priced. Sparkling wines are worth trying, especially the rosè (4/5). The big area for improvement is service (2/5) For instance, wine bottles aren’t opened in front of customers and no presentation or description of their wines is given (which is surprising considering it’s a winery). Another example would be that different courses were served but cutlery was forgotten and we had to ask a few different waiters for help. It’s a pity that this happened, because I believe that overall Squerreys has been a good and recommendable experience.

Stunning location and very lovely setting. We had a bottle of rose champagne and shared a few of the tapas plates - king prawns, chorizo croquettes, smoked salmon and calamari. Wonderful, highly recommend.

Nothing short of magnificent here! The winery offers a great selection of Brut’s and Rose’s. They offer a membership which entitles you to reduced prices along with numerous other benefits. Exclusive invitations to events. They’re own restaurant on the terrace serving sumptuous cuisine. The staff are very tentative and courteous. They have quite a few awards too. 👍🇬🇧🥂
