Very friendly however I ordered spaghetti Bolognese and received a pasta bake dish thingy. When I mentioned this is not what I ordered I was told that this was spaghetti Bolognese!! My family had roast dinner wasn't great frozen vegetables and potatoes. Nice clean pub

The only place in Sevenoaks you will get a 'light and bitter'. Very much a locals pub with a friendly welcome and a relaxed place to have a pint.

More of a pub, than a place to eat, but food was ok.

An early Christmas dinner laid on by the wonderful Barry, mine host. Beer selection was superb as normal and in excellent condition. A good meal was enjoyed by the West Kent CAMRA branch.

Brilliant landlord in Barry, excellent range of real ales and substantial, reasonably- priced food. A 'proper' pub with a great atmosphere.

The problem i have is do i review my experience or do i review the pub itself? I say this because my experience was awful. A place filled with territorial locals casting un welcoming stares,my friend (a woman) and i sat down and halfway through her drink said "i feel really uncomfortable" that was enough....we left....But to review the pub is a different story, its a nice little old traditional pub,the staff were friendly and attentive, the beer was good with try before you buy and even though we couldnt get to it they had a dart board! I realise 'locals' are the bread and butter and you need them in these times, but they are going to be the reason people dont come back.

Homely pub with delicious thick cut chips and good prices. Lovely staff and welcoming vibes. Fish and chips were top notch. Dog friendly and lots of hand sanitiser too

Great pub, and the people are brilliant! You are always greeted with a big hello and a big smile, and they always make an effort to learn the names of their customers and I'm always greeted by name. Really good live music, really good selection of beers, and the price is better than anywhere. Good grub, and always a great atmosphere.
