The Bottle House in Sevenoaks

I love the Bottle House, been coming here for years as it totally captures what a country pub is all about... great beer, great food and a friendly atmosphere set in an amazing location. Wonderful walks in every direction to build an appetite or walk off those extra calories in the Penshurst countryside.

Ate here for dinner, beautifully decked out for the jubilee. Staff incredibly attentive and friendly. We had the pie of the day, and a pizza. Lovely local place that had local beer on tap and local wine advertised.

Lovely pub. Been before and had excellent meals. Today, however, the food in general was not so good. This could have been down to individual tastes but there were minor issues with three out of four meals. The wine was excellent.

This wasn't our planned stop, for walking in this fantastic area of natural beauty. Despite not having a reservation, the two of us were given a warm welcome and seated on a good sized table for two. This is clearly a great place to eat. So for a larger group I'd suggest making a reservation. I will be returning again.

I had not been here for many years but with friends we are trying to find a replacement for our Saturday lunch venue.So I have to say the it was excellent. Good was absolutely perfect. I had the pork belly, which was my favourite menu item from earlier visits. It was the best i have had for a long time. 11/10.My friends are equally delighted with what they had.It was busy but the staff were attentive and cannot be faulted.Highly recommended.

Good service, good presentation and good food. Certainly worth a try on a Sunday out with the family.

Genuinely friendly staff with good service. Food menu slightly limited so actually had two starters instead of a main. Arrived quickly and was really tasty hearty pub food. Really nice atmosphere would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic meal tonight food was great but the staff were brilliant which makes all the difference. Small issue with food, which was resolved more than adequately. Thank you!

I found the staff very accommodating and the barman poured a decent black and tan. I didn't intend to eat but was tempted by the menu. I decided on the pie of the day which was an absolutely delicious steak and stilton pie served with buttery mash and steamed vegetables. I thoroughly recommend this pub.

Lovely food. Great service. Relaxing and was sat by the fire. Can't wait to return again.
