Great experience !! Food was amazing and the portions sizes were brilliant. They managed to fit us in last minute on a very busy day (Easter Sunday) and the service was second to none. Will definitely be going back and would 100% recommend. Thank you guys.

Without trying to repeat myself here, The Bricklayers Arms is outstanding.Immensely popular and incredibly well run.It has an Old British feel that appeals to most of us.The Staff, proprietors are all warm and welcoming, courteous and hugely efficient and the Meals plentiful and again, outstanding. To top it all, as well as a being in a beautiful setting, the prices are anything but high!!!I couldn't recommend The Bricklayers Arms more highly

Great atmosphere, lovely food with lots of variety, a lovely lake view, and staff that will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. Best pub I've been to in years.

Family birthday that fell on quiz night . Quiz and set menu £15 two course £20 three course. Limited choice, needed a burger on the menu, I had mushroom starter 2 small mushrooms with breadcrumbs sprinkled on, underwhelming, Main pork stroganoff it was very salty food very average, Nice atmosphere, not been there for years, appears to be a popular old school local. I'm into real ale drinker the ipa I had I didnt like just probably made wrong selection.Staff friendly got whole pub to sing happy birthday to my daughter which was niceBe nice in the summer by the lake

What a little gem of a country village pub. Very good food with good price tag. Staff friendly and very helpful . Beautiful outlook over the lake. Will be back!

I really don't know what was going on tonight at this venue.I have eaten here regularly over the last five years and had booked a specific table ( via Adam who was always brilliant!) by the fire for my partners birthday. A request for confirmation was received from open table which i confirmed. On arrival we found the table had been given to customers who had walked in, I was told it was due to the fact we were late as the table had been booked for 7pm! I showed them the confirmation on my phone clearly showing 7-30pm this was answered by "That's not us it's open table!!" However they did admit they provided the info to them.We were then sat on a side table in the bar.The meal was sub standard with broccoli i needed a steak knife to even stand a chance of cutting !I accept things go wrong but the mark of a good business is how they put things right. These guys made absolutely no attempt. We sadly won't be going back any time soon which is a shame as it's a lovely venue. The George and Dragon is only up the road though!

. Went their for a birthday celebration. A lovely village pub. Attentive staff, great food and choice of beers. Very clean environment throughout. Most importantly, a big welcome for the dogs. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Great real ale pub opposite Chipstead Lakes. Excellent choice of beers and ales. Called there a midweek lunchtime(a Thursday) with my wife and other family members and although we hadn't booked we were given a lovely inside table with a view of the lake although it is advisable to book. An excellent extensive menu but as it was lunchtime we shared sandwiches and fries with salads, all was delicious. Staff and the service was also excellent. I highly recommend this traditional old English pub. 10 out of 10 for everything.
