We came past this pub on a hike between Ightham Mote and Knole looking for a hearty lunch. The Bucks Head was very cozy, the landlady welcoming. We had some amazingly tender lamb kleftiko and couldn’t resist a pudding as well. If you find yourself in our situation, I can highly recommend popping by.

Lovely atmosphere and the food is pretty good. Just wish they stayed open later on a Sunday ;)

I have a wonderful meal here a few days ago. Honestly the best burger I have ever had! There was something different about it, maybe a herb or something that was added but it was delicious. The bar staff and waiting staff were all super welcoming and I couldn't give them a better rating. Will definitely come back again

I love this pub! They have the best food and wine. The staff are really friendly and the landlady Helen is so welcoming. Perfect spot after a walk in Knole Park.

An awesome spot for lunch after a long walk in Knole Park. Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. Food was on point ans service was great, couldn’t fault it on bit.

Very welcoming on our stop walking around Knole Park. Amazing food. I definitely recommend the game pie, should it be available.

Traditional pub in a lovely part of Kent near Sevenoaks and Knole Park. Delicious food and great service make this a place to visit. Try a walk before Sunday lunch - you won't regret it!

·

Perfect country pub.. very welcoming, tasty & fresh lunch (you HAVE to try the fat chips!). Appeared like a beacon during a walk & absolutely did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend.

Very nice pub and amazing service. Makes you feel at home. All food are home made and taste very delicious.

The food was really good indeed. The portions was huge! It was around 16-17 quid for a roast dinner but the quality did stand up to that. The deserts were amazing! Really very nice! As our pictures will show. The reason its not a 5 star review is the wait staff were a little pushy! Constantly hurrying us through the course and its left a bitter taste due to it. I would go back mind you. Trying to park outside is a nightmare tho!
