The Castle Inn in Sevenoaks

Extremely friendly, helpful staff.. Booked a table for 10 and we had the lovely annex room to ourselves.. Which was probably a good thing for other guests as we are a rowdy lot. Food lovely. Thai fish cakes could have had a bit more too it. It did look a bit like a starter. Brownie points for me from my friends having the lovely room so I'm happy

Great food and really nice staff. Board games to play and keep you off your phone. A great family friendly pub. A hidden gem in a beautifully quaint village. Well worth a visit.

Good beer friendly service. food looked delicious I will come back sometime soon for a lovely roast dinner

They took the order and our coffee came along quite quickly. We waited over 40 minutes and then when we asked if they could check on the food, they said they forgot to put the order through and that we would have to wait another 20-30 minutes. Judging by the review, it seemed like a nice place but I hope this was a one off event. We left after that without waiting for the food.

Sadly, I wouldn’t suggest it…. The local is gorgeous, the staff the friendliest(and only reason I didn’t put 1star) BUT the food…. Was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.We came for a proper Sunday roast(me a vegetarian, beef one for my partner) both plates were cold with watery burning gravy and the vegetables were almost raw(or maybe they prepared way too early and by the time they serve it had that old strong bite)Sorry but We won’t get back.

Only popped in for a drink during a walk but the service and attitude of the staff was great. A lovely old pub in a pretty little village, will definitely visit again.

Good food, good garden, good beer, try the Larkins it's brewed literally just up the road at Larkins farm. I've been to this pub many times and highly recommend.

A small but delicious menu. Lovely garden. Historic setting. Good ales and wines
