It's one of UK's hidden gem. The staff were excellent and polite; the food simply delicious. The best pie and Yorkshire pudding ever tasted.

Good Sunday lunch and excellent customer service. Plum crumble and custard was delicious. High chairs for babies and flexible with seating arrangements.

Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, also very inviting.Went on a Friday evening.I believe the food selection is different on a Sunday but its a good idea to call and ask depending on what day it is, also good to check if booking is needed incase. During winter the weekly selection of food is varied so good idea to ask when calling. You can eat inside or out as plenty of space and the gardens are very well kept, the area inside to the back of the building is all glass and also a lovely area to eat in. Looking forward to going again as I recommend highly to all who haven't been yet.

Pleasant pub where we stopped on a walk. Would be nice if they served a guest real ale as I am a bit of a CAMRA buff.

Amazing Sunday LunchRecently had Sunday lunch here. There is a wide choice of food. They don't just do Roasts on a Sunday but the full menu. Food is freshly prepared and delicious. Presentation is very good. Portions are generous. Prices are reasonable for the area. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had roast chicken and chicken pie.The pub is really trying to diversify post lockdown. Ranging from takeaways, to cream teas on a Saturday, take away coffees, marquee in the garden for the British 'summer' and beyond, quiz nights, special menus.I would heartily recommend this pub as a venue to eat or just to have a drink. You'll get a warm welcome.

Nice location, very clean. Tea was good as was the pint of Harvey's. Coffee was tasteless and badly made. We would have eaten there unfortunately the kitchen wasn't open until six, so We sat in the garden hungry and reminiscing about our top five meals out...!

Decent looking pub where my partner and I stopped while checking a route she will be leading for a cycling group. Staff were friendly and, in these strange tines in 2020, there was ample space for social distancing.I can't comment on beers, food or wine as we had soft drinks, only, as we were riding.

Popped in for a quick pint on a long circular walk. 2 Harvey's ales on offer. Good pint with welcoming staff and very sensible pricing.
