Wayne the landlord is a proper raconteur! Brilliant food too, gets better every time we visit. The beers are tapped and kept in the traditional way so will suit real ale fans. Perfect if you’re visiting Chartwell just 5 mins away

We visited for the first time and met with a warm welcome. Lots of history and a great country pub. Great menu and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. This pub is a real gem and we will definitely be visiting again. Jason & Lorraine.

Just love this place. My partners grand mother used to live in the village that's how we found this pub. We first went to have a meal somewhere away from London and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and the people who run it. We have since become friends with Wayne the landlord who is a great conversationalist and has a very welcoming manor. I would greatly recommend this pub if you are looking for a quite place to have a meal and just relax in the peaceful Four Elms village. I should add the picture is of me my late Dad and my Son who as you can see totally enjoyed there time here. The photo was taken by Wayne.

A beautiful listed building in a lovely village. Free car park and outside seating. Super nice friendly staff made me feel welcome and the food was delicious. Recommended!

A great location, wonderful Building with loads of history. The Sunday lunch was very good with nice sized portions. We happy to recommend the pub.

We were visiting from Nottingham and spotted this lovely,traditional pub. We definately recommend it. Food was excellent . Our landlord Wayne was fun and friendly. We were made most welcome. In fact we have already passed on the word about this place to our family in Kent.
