Perfectly positioned for rides from many directions, the shop offers a great selection for refuelling. I visit almost weekly and the only thing that lets the place down is single member of staff with the immaculate bouffant hair, who has a habit of being rude and making people feel awkward. I've reserved reviewing to date as I always give people the benefit of the doubt but I've witnessed various customers fall fowl of her antagonist approach to telling people what they should and shouldn't be doing in the shop. It is after a community shop and not The Ritz.

What an absolute find, stopped for a comfort break, ended up staying over an hour for coffee, cake and to take in the views. Watched two buzzards soaring high, what a treat. The staff were all lovely and friendly.

Crazy amazing range of cakes, flapjacks and cookies. Almost worthy of a visit just to tour them, like you might a cake museum. Mostly very popular beloved favourites, things like coffee & walnut cake, carrot cake. Also has a surprisingly large space for gluten-free products from some well known brands. You can get bread, biscuits, pasta and gluten-free gnocchi here!Serves hot drinks and also has a typical 7 / 11 store range of daily essentials and also features a post-office unit inside

Great shop with a great range of products. Prices fair and there were some lovely looking locally made cakes. They serve freshly made hot drinks here - I didn't see a place to sit but from overhearing the locals it sounded like in non cocid times you were able to sit in the shop. There is plenty of parking and some toilets out front but I didn't go in them. There was also a track pump for bike tyres and a bowl of water for dogs. Service was helpful and friendly

Excellent latte. I was concerned that it was prepared by a machine but it was a super delicious. The Victoria sponge was nice but not outstanding (So therefore 4 stars rather than 5) as the ladies serving were really friendly and prices couldn't be faulted (£2 for coffee and £2 for cake). The view was free!
