We use this as a meeting place with my father in-law, it's a well kept, tradition pub and I love it's Sunday roasts

Wow! Absolutely amazing food. Excellent value too. Cannot recommend this stunning country pub enough. Wonderfully polite and friendly staff. Lovely outside space, with kids play area. We will most definitely be back again soon. Update: we visit here regularly now, still fantastic food and fantastic staff.

Nice big carpark. That's bout the best thing I can say.Stopped off for lunch on Sunday and should have walked back out. There is no nice smell off cooking going on. Sat by the fire place and the micro wave was ringing out constantly. We had the Roast beef. OK. Potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots, and certainly Yorkshire pudding came from freezer for a few minutes zap.Not worth the money. Avoid

Great spot for a bank holiday lunch! Beautiful views from the beer garden out the back. The play area kept our 8 year old plenty busy. The the food was super tasty and the staff were very friendly. Also plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area.

The KH recently hosted an afternoon tea for our family. A delicious spread and excellent service from highly professional staff, who couldn't do enough for us.

We didn't feel this is a great pub to go with children. The staff told us from Hello that they "are not allowed to run in here" even tho they were well behaved at the time. The food was OK but too overpriced. Especially children menu - VERY overpriced for a burned fish fingers and chips. We won't be coming back for meals - maybe for their great looking garden where our children might be more welcomed in the hot weather

Friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Log fire was welcome on a cold Sunday. Good roast dinner from a choice of beef or chicken @ Β£15.50. Good value. Will return.

Booked a table and had a really nice lunch with my nan and great-nan here today. Lovely warm atmosphere and lovely staff all round. Had a jacket potato with chilli and cheese, it was really yummy. My nan and great-nan enjoyed the food too. Will go back again π xx
