The Leicester Arms Hotel Restaurant in Sevenoaks

We had a wonderful meal here for fathers day with the family. The roast was excellent with good portion sizes. The staff were very professional and friendly despite what must have been a very long day, we left feeling very pleased with our choice. We will be back.

Beautiful place, and the garden is a hidden gem. VERY dog friendly. Food was delicious but being promised cutlery with which to eat it that never appeared, and condiments had to be sought out meant it wasn't enjoyed at its absolute best. Everyone is clearly trying but more co-ordination is needed. Iron out such issues (and they are obviously trying to do that) and it is a perfect spot for a special lunch.

Hugely impressed with the rooms at the Leicester Arms, where we stayed for two nights earlier this month. We had a comfortable, dog friendly room on the first floor at the back of the hotel with a spectacular view over the beautiful Kent countryside. The staff work hard to make you feel welcome and the owner/manager is clearly proud of his hotel. He should be. Highly recommended.

This pub is in a lovely location and has great potential. However, I would recommend for drinks only, not food. I ordered the goat cheese salad and, after waiting more than an hour, it arrived without one of the main ingredients. It was very overpriced for what it was, sadly. The chips I shared as a side hadn’t been defrosted properly, nor cooked for long enough, and were still hard. Such a shame.

Had a birthday celebration in the beautiful “event” room. Staff were professional and attentive. Food great. Would definitely recommend.Thank you Leicester Arms for a great day.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday. Lovely warm atmosphere and buzzing with people and dogs. Staff veruy friendkly and food was delicious. Had the lamb shank pie and my partner had fish and chips. Both dishes to be recommended. Coffee and chocolate brownie was also very good.

Fantastic place, absolutely recommend!! The rooms are really well done, amazing nights sleep.The bar and restaurant are really relaxing perfect to relax and enjoy a pint or glass of wine! Staff are all really friendly and helpful.

Lovely old pub very close the Penshurst Place and a great place for a pub lunch. Food was good and portions huge. Would recommend the pie of the day. Cheese board excellent too! Service with a smile and beer selection excellent. Would recommend.

We didn't stay overnight at the hotel. We booked a table on the restaurant to have lunch after a long country walk. The place is really nice, beautiful location and decoration.At the restaurant everything seemed a bit chaotic and we had to wait a long time to eat.We ordered drinks and they brought them fairly quickly, however was completely different with the food. The starters we ordered to share took about 40 minutes to arrive and then another extra 30 minutes for the mains.The food was good quality and tasty but the portions were a bit smaller than expected for a pub.I am not sure if there was staff shortage due to COVID or it is just lack of organization but the waiting times are not normal.

Beautiful old building, with a lovely comfortable room which was dog friendly. Penshurst was very sweet with one shop- the pub felt like the heart of the community. There was a great farmers market on a Sunday morning. The staff were friendly and helpful but also relaxed leaving you to get on with it- which we liked. It felt like a home from home. The food in the restaurant was really good and the breakfast was amazing!! Without a doubt one of the best breakfasts I have ever had!! We absolutely loved our stay and couldn’t fault it! Thanks 😊
