Roast was lovely , staff so welcoming and very friendly.Will definitely visit again .Toliets new and clean .Very pleasant Sunday for myself and a friend.

Called into this pub for the first time today and what a little gem,barman very friendly and welcoming stayed for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed a our food,they also had a gluten free option on food and drink,will definitely return in the near future.

Lovely little pub, have been many times. Food menu is great, with specials available. the food is great and great portionsizes too. Great staff and can def recommend

Enjoyed this place. Landlord sensibly told us there would be a wait for food and would take our order when the kitchen was ready. Worth the wait - excellent burger and a well cooked gammon steak. Well kept Harveys on tap.

Best local pub! Though I am a bit biased. The food is genuinely good pub fare with crispy fluffy chips. Good variety of dishes with the seasons. Good chat at the bar with friendly locals.

Met up with some girlfriends last week and we were very impressed with everything here. The manager was friendly, helpful and efficient. We discussed the wine and had a super White Rioja, Lopes de Haro. The menu was varied and when our meals arrived we were all impressed with the presentation not to mention the flavours and quantity. Rather than have a full desert each the chef was very thoughtful and divided two chocolate brownies for the 6 of us each to have some with our coffee - he even added a strawberry and ice-cream. Brilliant. A super place to eat I would highly recommend it.

Lovely pub with very good value food and drinks. We went on a Sunday and all enjoyed a wide range of different main courses, drinks and deserts. All were great. The staff are perfectly attentive without rushing people. We would definitely come back again soon. I advise booking at the weekend as it was quite busy but the service was still terrific.

Nice Sunday roast. Big portion. Reasonable priced. The pub is really clean and comfy environment. Toilet is really clean which is also good sign of good pub. On street free parking. There are two English heritage sites nearby. We had nice experience here.
