A quiet Monday night, whilst working away, so wasn't expecting the usual Wetherspoon experience. Food was decent enough, plenty of room and a good experience.

Staff was fairly Pleasant had breakfast in there in the morning breakfast was served relatively fast didn't have to wait very long for my meal no complaints there full English can't go wrong reallyMy only complaint would be the loudmouth bloke sitting at the table across from where we was sitting....

I visited this local spoons with my husband a few days ago during lunch. I don’t know where to start.. the staff were just plain rude to us! After having many lovely years here i am so disappointed to write this review but i needed to worn other people. One member of staff in particular was a young lady with short hair, she was quite slow, i’m not too sure what she was on but she got our order wrong multiple times even though it was just two drinks. Won’t be returning again.

What a welcome find, on a cold gloomy Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy and we managed to get a table, everything was clean and the food was was not too bad, cheap drinks. Barstaff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return!

Attended family court around the corner and came here to relax and have some food/drinks.Definitely relaxed here, nice environment and the table service for food/drinks was very quick.I came during the day so would recommend with family and children.

Small but comfortable Spoons. Good range of well kept festival ales when we visited. Usual great Spoons prices. Only complaint is that the toilets are tatty and need sprucing up.

·

Very economical, good value polite service. Wish they would bring back meals that suit older customers. Our favourite steak and kidney pudding for example. When you ask or send a message it seems to fall on deaf ears.

The quiz is back!Good cooked breakfast. Cheap pint. Enough said. Fun quiz night on a Monday. Winner takes all up to £100. Normally has a quiz leader board over ten week stints. £2per head to enter. 6 rounds.Thursday night (16th July) getting busier. People having to queue to get in. Best to get there early or wrap up warm. Hand sanitiser at front door. 4 people per table.

overall, it was a good experience. the food is very good and service was super speedy, especially for dessert.only issue we had was they forgot one of the side dishes, but this was resolved with no hassle at all.i would recommend this pub to all.

Have only had the breakfast so far their large breakfast is a great way to start the day. This is one of the smaller places but it is very clean and the staff seem happy. There is a small area where you can sit outside, it can be quite a little sun trap.Just be let down on the fudge cake (boo hoo). Stick toffee puds just got the thumbs up.
