The Tulip Tree in Sevenoaks

Great full English breakfast (ordered just before noon!) while on a nice cycle ride, with a cappuccino and cake. All top quality and delicious, with a nice seat outside in the sunshine. Can't wait to go again...

I have been to this cafe a few times. Each time I specifically ask for the scones to be hot and buttered, they ignore my request and serve packaged butter on the side for me to spread. This time I made a point of asking for the butter to be spread on the scones and heated, how hard can this be for almost £:3 a scone. The waitress ignored my request, told me she was sorry she had forgot. The scone wasn’t vey hot, I asked her to reheat and please spread the butter, it was delivered again by the manager, it still wasn’t hot and he told me we don’t spread butter on scones, it’s just not the service we offer here. I can’t believe that for around £9 for two scones and a tea, this basic request couldn’t be fulfilled. Really poor service!

Slices of cake are huge! Definitely enough for 2 people. Very nice coffee as well.

Very nice place. Everything so fresh and it is cooked in front of your eyes.

I phoned and booked an afternoon tea for my mum and daughter as a special occasion and when I arrived I was told they didn't do afternoon teas on Sundays. No discounts offered even on a cup of tea and it cost a lot more.. Disappointing I'm sorry to say. I had travelled a way for this treat. Shame 😔

Great coffee and some delicious looking cakes. I had the courgette and orange which was very nice. Cosy cafe inside with a log burner fire and plenty of room to sit outside. Shop nearby also very good.

Cosy and warm, but not clean. They clear the tables from previous customers without wiping the tables clean. We were sat on dirty table. Long wait for order and they come mix up. I am feeling ill today as I think they gave me cows milk instead oat milk in my coffee...

A lovely little tea room nestled away in Chiddingstone. A lovely menu, great sandwiches and really friendly staff! I highly recommend this place to anyone and some great walks in the surrounding countryside!
