The Wheatsheaf at Bough Beech in Sevenoaks

Very nice pub. Out in the country. Made you feel welcome. Nice little car meet.

Sadly we were disappointed. There was a strong smell of old cooking oil permeating throughout the pub. The menu was limited and food ok but nothing special. I’m not in the habit of leaving negative reviews so will be positive and mention that the staff were very pleasant. We will not be returning.

The meals that came out tasted old and were cold. We ordered the beef roast, pork roast and risotto. I never thought bad potatoes existed until this day. My friend couldn't touch his risotto. Such a disappointment as we are local

This is the best meal since I came to England，tonight make everything worthful！

The food was top notch, the servers were very nice and looked after us all evening. We loved the feel of the place and will return in future travels to the area.

Lovely old pub and wonderful food. I've not had such good fish and chips in a long time. I would have given five stars but they let me down somewhat. I booked a table four weeks in advance, had confirmation. On the evening we were just offered the last remaining table ie nothing reserved. In fairness they did open up another area when I complained. The system wants reviewing.

Charming pub with great service. The food is really lovely and is fairly priced, with a good selection of wines. Their expresso martinis are just perfect. Would 100% return!

Sunday later afternoon, plenty of room to socially distance. Good selection of well kept ales. Menu was varied, food good. Staff cheerful and friendly. 5* ladies toilet, clean and spacious.

Fantastic meal of roast beef! I opted for the children's version which was plenty for me in this occasion. Piping hot, tasty and arrived quickly! Service was great and the staff were friendly.
