Very nice restaurant & bar. Busy and food looked good. We only had a drink after a walk but would return to eat

We made a last minute family booking for 9, including 4 children aged from 4-9, for a Sunday. We were really impressed with how well we were accommodated. The children's menu had plenty of choice for the smalls, and they loved their ice creams that came with a toy to take away. I had the vegan roast, which may possibly be the best one I have tried to date. I was given the option of still having the non vegan friendly gravy, Yorkshires and parsnips, which I was very grateful for as a flexiterian - I love gravy! The only thing that could have improved the experience was a vegan-friendly option for these. They were busy, so service was a tad slow, but to be expected on a busy Sunday. All in all, a good experience and we would definitely return.

Booked for a large table (8 adults and 4 children) at lunch, service was excellent and they were incredibly accomodating with the children. Food was delicious and we enjoyed both mains and desserts.

Dived into the rock to hide from the rain, while out for a bike ride. Had a coffee at the bar. Coffee was nice, pub was empty, however it was the middle of the week during the early afternoon.

Here's a way to start the day !!! The pub with the best beer (Harveys) around here, has just started doing breakfast on weekend mornings. Just had the double-up English breakfast. It was excellently cooked, and served by very welcoming and friendly staff. Top marks - we'll be back 🙂

Decent pub and will be returning. After a long muddy walk from Leigh, we stopped off here for well deserved steak baguette and one falafel. Menu had plenty of other options along with vegan ones. Very responsibly priced.

Just stumbled across this pub on a walk. Excellent food and service. Gorgeous location. And big bonus was how welcome they made our dog Drinks and biscuits for the whippet! The vegan chocolate tart was truly delicious 💕

Found this place on a new walk we were doing, so stopped in for a pint and a bite, not expecting to be able to get a table, it being Sunday lunch time... So pleasantly surprised that they could fit us in, and our dog too...result.Food was good, especially the choc tart. Staff excellent and accomodating, even providing water and treats for pup, helping her progress her pub training. Will return.
