Fantastic! Had the the most delicious lunch here yesterday. Service was superb, atmosphere great, food divine. Coupled with great pricing and lively location what's not to love. Definitely going back...

Happen to just stop and have a look at the menu and glad we did. Had a lovely lunch in the cute garden set out the back. Food was great and good price. Lovely warm welcome from the staff. Perfect in the sunshine.

Nice pub and place to stay. Did close early though as only a little village. Enjoyed the stay. Interesting rooms and walls and floors as original building is very old so our room sloped somewhat.

Oldeworld and very charming. A warm welcome is assured and the evening meal and wine selection is excellent. The perfect place to stay if you have a dog and are travelling from the UK to France via the Tunnel as it's only about 10 minutes away.

Very accommodating, found table room for our party of 11 Inc wheelchair at two days notice for Sunday lunch. Roast was as good as you will find anywhere for the money. Will be back soon to try the cream tea.

Stayed one night on business. Very old coaching house type hotel built in 1651 I think. Hosts were very welcoming. I had a very nice evening meal. The room although small was nice, overlooking the centre of the small village. This hotel was built in 1651 so you have to forgive the uneven floors and modern fittings have to fit around the solid wooden beams of old. This obviously adds to the charm of the place. Breakfast was fantastic the next morning. A most agreeable place to stay on the whole.

Beautiful pub, gorgeously decorated and very cosy. Dog friendly, great service. Went only for puddings, which were delicious! We immediately took the chance to make a booking for a family Christmas dinner - it's very busy in the season but the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

A lovely pub restaurant in the village of Elham. The lady serving was very friendly and helpful, and the garden she directed us to was beautiful. The garden is bigger than it looks in the picture. We enjoyed sandwiches for lunch in the sunshine, and were joined by two friendly tabby cats. Well worth a visit!

My wife and I stayed here while walking North Downs Way nearby, and we loved it. The wonderful Tudor building has such atmosphere. The room was all we needed, bed comfy. Excellent quality food, particularly the veggie options. Helen and Eric were lovely and kind hosts. We'll definitely come back.
