Great staff and very helpful. The food was good pub fare. An enjoyable evening.

If your looking for good pub food that is well cooked and reasonably priced you should definitely give this pub a try. We had a lovely meal last night. The staff are very friendly and the service was good and there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere

In response to the review by Mr Stephen Grant-Dawe, I am the said owner of the puppy who had the accident, she is only six months old and we are in the process of training her, unfortunately accidents happen and it was very embarrassing for all, we dealt with the situation as best we could, it is most unfair to give Botolphs bridge a bad rating, they are definitely a 5 star rating on all basis, food, friendliness, dog friendly, family pub.

Working in the kitchen was lad called Jason, not only was he dashinly handsome and charming he could've done enough for us. We were so impressed with the service. The food is lovely. The atmosphere is welcomely and friendly. I would highly recommend going there to eat or just have a drink. 5 stars all the way. The staff work very hard. Leave a generous tip.!!

Family run and family friendly local pub. Good varied menu with weekly specials. Really good pies! Popular at lunch times and weekend so maybe book a table. They do home-made chips which are old school amazing. Kids meals are huge.

Stayed close by and visited the pub on two occasions. Just had drinks on the Saturday, staff were really nice, attentive and polite. I had Doom Bar which was excellent and my wife had a lovely Pinot Grigio.Again on Sunday lovely warm welcome from the landlady Mandy,this time for a meal. The roast was amazing, my wife had chicken and gammon, I had gammon. Beautiful homemade food, made by the landlady’s son Charlie. Would definitely recommend a visit and we’ll definitely be back!!

Great pub great food, now moved down here and this is my local, can highly recommend as the atmosphere is family friendly the staff are fantastic and the food is the best pub grub around. Had a 3 course meal today (18-8-21) served by the Manageress Leigh, and can safely say the best pub meal I've had, service and food superb, food sourced locally, I may be a bit bias, but tend to tell the way it is (see review for elephant and hind, Dover). All in all not rushed, and going by the look on the faces of other punters everyone was pleased.

FINALLY.... A pub that delivers what they promise. Definitely homemade, Definitely fresh and definitely worth every penny. And the bonus, we even got to see the promised option of the giraffes. We'll be returning to sample the other delights on the menu. We had the Calamari and meatball (homemade) starters and then the fish and chips.... Delicious delicious delicious... the chef is clearly a keeper

Good food, good service. Staff excellent, very helpful. Well worth a visit, lovely patio area.
