Not many places to eat in dungeness but luckily this pub was very nice. It was warm enough to sit outside and views were lovely. Menu was a bit small but food was pretty good. Had cod and chips and a crab salad. Fish and chips were served in a basket with takeaway cutlery, which made the price paid seem a little high.

Nice fish dinner, no frills but more than enough. Waitress dealt with a family of nightmare customers, that were sitting next to us pretty professionally. The there's a hair in my meal and the coffee burned my lip type of customer.

This must be one of the worst pubs I've been in. The food was terrible and I'll tell you why...The chips were soggy, the peas were over cooked so much that they were loosing their colour, they forgot what I had ordered and they forgot I had ordered, the food was massively overpriced, £16 for Haddock and chips, the tables were covered in pieces of half eaten prawn and prawn bits, the staff didn't offer any condiments, and the decor has probably never been changed since the place was built. I highly do not recommend this dump!

Horrible service, horrible food. The staff were extremely unhelpful and showed no engagement in their work or care for customers. They did not make an effort for friendliness. Simple tasks weren't completed and when asked they gave a rude response.Food was poor quality. Fish was very oily, chips were dry and pizza was hidden by cheese to the point it made you feel ill.

Really enjoyed a lovely fish dinner here. Much brighter inside and clean. Very welcoming staff. Generous portions. I shall remove previous unhappy review made before current owners as the improvement is tenfold.

Great for a stopover. They do serve all the pub stuff + there is ice-cream serving area. Plenty of parking as well

My family and I were so disappointed with our meal and service when we visited last weekend. The wrong drinks were delivered after 30 minutes of waiting for our drinks. Massive food portions but the food was possibly the worst quality out I've eaten. My children wouldn't even eat theirs as the pizza was bland and still dough like. The star is for the ice-cream which was delicious, although ordered salted caramel and got chocolate.

Probably the best fish and chips I've had to date. So fresh and delicious! Absolutely lovely staff, very polite and welcoming. And I usually never rave about the toilets specifically but I truly appreciated the cleanliness and the sanitary pads available in the ladies toilet.

What a wonderful hidden gem. Excellent service and amazing food. A great selection of drinks on offer. The place is wonderfully clean and welcoming. We left with 4 very happy bellies and would recommend this place to everyone. We most certainly will be back of we are in the area again.

You'll get a friendly welcome as you walk into this pub. Inside it does resemble a seaside cafe and it looks nice and bright and clean. The food is fairly priced and very generously portioned - unlike some pubs where you'd pay a similar price for a much smaller (dare I say trendy? ) style portion served on brick or some such. This is good honest pub food at its best. It also helps that it's set in a stunning location too. We dined inside, however, there's ample seating outside. It's all very safe and well thought out.
