Amazing cafe. Best breakfast around by a country mile

Went in to Dawn's delight for breakfast yesterday. The place looked clean and welcoming but once I got inside I was greeted with a very unhappy and stressed lady behind the counter who informed me "any orders will be at least thirty minutes because she was so busy ". There were only three people including myself in there. I then had to listen to her complaining about how busy she always is and how terrible her boss and owner is. I received my breakfast wich was adequate enough, nothing special but felt uncomfortable the entire time I was in there because of the constant moaning from the staff. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Sorry but I won't be going back.

These women should definitely not beWorking with the public, moaning loudly to each other in front of the customers, moaning about there jobs, zero friendliness, rude and just don’t come across as very nice, so unprofessional would be better suited out of the public eye, we used to come here because we thought it was cheap and cheerful now sadly just cheap. Lady’s you need to learn how to be respectful of other people there’s people sharing it all over social media how rude you are, they can’t all be wrong and me and my partner witnessed this first hand and it’s put us off completely

Came in to have food, sat down, a couple of us talking then when others leave. Both staff members slagging us all off whilst I was still sat down. Not very professional! Used to like it here but never will I purchase food/drink from it again! Disgraceful! So rude! Need to think about their volume of their voices!Lady with blonde hair to shoulders and glasses other lady has brown hair done up in pony tail and had glasses sitting on her head.

Just sent my little brother to get us breakfast he payed over 8 quid for 2 baguttes both baguttes had one sausage and one egg in he asked for sausage and bacon and egg and bacon we got sausage and bacon and sausage and egg tge baguttes are tiny with minimal ingredients for top wack prices not only that the bread was stale truley distgusting steer clear what a dump

I had the pleasure to deal with some lady (I assume it was Dawn herself) and she was probably the rudest restaurant staff I’ve ever encountered in 15 years in the restaurant business. Ordered a takeaway coffee but because it was filled to the top I couldn’t even carry it into my car without spilling it. When I asked if she could put some tape over it, she said it’s not her problem (?!)It should be renamed to Karen’s Delight as she is the biggest Karen of them all.

One of our drinks didn't arrive, neither did people's sitting at next table...both had to ask. Cheese dogs....well tasted ok but seriously didn't expect the cheese just to be grated on top...would have been so much better if grilled and melted. Toilet closed for covid reason sort of understandable as entered by a very narrow corridor which is used to store items .Cheap meal, poor service.

NO PHONE MANNERS AT ALL. Called to order around 12pm and was told it shuts at 12pm. Google says opens at 0630 and. Loses at 1500. And the reason was pandemic and not taking cash. BUT MAKE AN EFFORT TO CHANGE TIMES ON GOOGLE WON'T TAKE LONG SO PEOPLE CAN KNOW. People go by the Google opening times and plan their day and buy food. RIDICULOUS. And use words like thank you, Sorry, it makes a difference!

Positives: Good food & overall good prices. Did not wait long for food to be served. Was able to swap item of food on set breakfast. They provided sweeteners (which as a diabetic this was important to My Dad)Negatives: Cafe could have been cleaner & (for my preference) the food could have been hotter.Will return again.

This is a nice friendly little gem of a cafe. If you have a big appetite then this is for you. I always have to say don't fill the plate so much. The meals are good value for money. I think a little bit of seasoning wouldn't go a miss. The prices are very reasonable.
