Golden Wok Chinese Takeaway in Shepway

Food is good but owner is rude also on Thursday I order nearly £30 of takeaway to my flat (I live on the 4th floor) 30 minutes later the owners son I think he is phoned me from the carpark asking me to come collect it as he doesn't want to walk up the stairs I said no as I ordered home delivery not carpark delivery so inbetween waiting I phoned the shop about 35 minutes after driver phoned me to cancel order as I found it not good practise well about 25 minutes later that makes it a hour now he the driver phoned me saying he is still in carpark can I collect my food I told him I cancelled it so he came up to my flat door shouting in a aggressive manner and saying I am barred from the shop and started kicking my door which is definitely unexceptaptable and who wants to help a business who are rude and aggressive to the customer

The food is always amazing, however tonight's vist was definitely disappointing, staff were rude because I'd asked for prawn crackers instead of a free chicken surprise meal, absolutely gutted that i was spoken too in such a rude manner

I just ordered crispy beef but this is like sweet and just fried cornflour mix.I was call them and asked but the lady showed me.now I now people said to me before don’t go there and they are not cleaning properly and food not good😦😦😦😦

Food freshly cooked to order, really tasty and lots of choice. Also deliver but don't accept card payments.

Just ordered a takeaway.. very dissatisfied. My king prawn balls were not fresh, the batter was chewy and so were the prawns inside..seems like they were cooked yesterday and thrown in the fryer to refresh. The prawn toast was the same and egg fried rice was hard. It's valentine's Day and thought it would be nice to have a takeaway...wish I didn't bother. I'm surprised as I was sure it would be fresh as it's valentine's Day and there would be a lot of orders! Use to like there food but this has really put me off and I won't be ordering there again. If the owner is reading this then my only advice is ... don't cut corners because in the long run you will loose customers and your business will struggle.

Read some unflattering reviews.... I have never had a bad experience here, only the best so far and have used them enough for them to know our address from what we usually order lol.

Great spring rolls, rice and satay... But the chilli sauce was diluted with vinegar as was the sweet n sour. Raw chunks of pepper chucked in with the sauce dishes.... Won't order again.. The easy things were awful

Reasonably priced food. Cooked quickly front of house which is always reassuring. Food was ok. Not the best but definately not the worst. If anything was slightly under seasoned and a bit bland. Tofu in black bean was ok again slightly bland. Satay chicken was ok but sauce a bit greasy. Not first choice but would use again if necessary
