Lobster came out cold. Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that but would have liked it better heated. Overall, it was a nice place.

·

Many year's ago we bought fresh fish and cod roe from what was then a fishmonger seafront shop, nestled among the fishing boats, which landed their catch. Wholesale prices for the public.I am delighted to find the service is even more extensive and now includes other produce.More exciting still, is a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, overlooking the sea. The freshly cooked food is delicious and includes seafood, meat and vegetarian options. There is also a kids menu, hot and cold drinks, ice cream and cakes. Pricing is reasonable and service is friendly. After a walk along the beach treat yourself to a tasty meal or snack or fresh produce from the seafront shop, to fill your freezer.

VERY DOG FRIENDLY! I come here monthly and always order the scallop and bacon baguette with a caramel latte. 😋 Cannot recommend highly enough 👌

I've been wanting to try their bacon and scallop baguette for ages and it did not disappoint. All the other food coming out looked delicious too. The restaurant area was very clean and tidy. Tables are quite close together but didn't feel unsafe. Thoroughly enjoyable visit and I will be back.

Lovely atmosphere in the old lifeboat shed. Eclectic display of posters and photos on the walls. Good breakfasts. Everything cooked to order so sit back and relax during busy times.

·

Lovely spot on the beach for breakfast, brunch or lunch, and with interesting and creative menu options too. Good quality food, and happy, helpful service. There are a few great places in Hythe for a casual, delicious bite, and this is definitely one of them. Can't go wrong here and I'll be back for sure.

Beach cafe, order at side door, collect at front, eat on picnic tables at the edge of the beach. Quite quick, but a bit pricey for what it is and fish portion a bit small though it tasted OK. There's a much nicer fish and chip place in Hythe town itself.
