We went there for a Sunday carvery. We did reserve a table which is a good idea because they are busy. Firstly there is a car park for customers. The tables were set up with enough space around so I could easily get my son's wheelchair to our table. Once there we read the menu. Easy on a Sunday as we all wanted the carvery. I must say I was impressed with how much meat we got and there was a wide choice of meat and veg. The food was lovely, we had roast turkey, pork and gammon at our table but there were other meats available. The deserts are very tempting too and of course as it is also a pub there is alcohol available. The Staff are quick, professional and very friendly.Only down point is entry is over a small area of gravel which is hard to push a wheelchair on but it's only a small amount and it is possible.

Lovely food & friendly service! Don't be put off by the 1st small room you enter thru if coming from the car park. It looks a bit dated (70's) but the main bar & restaurant area has been decorated very nicely. Have also heard their Sunday Roasts are fantastic so hoping to come back soon to try that!

We saw an advert on Facebook about The Jolly Fisherman, booked in for a Saturday evening meal and a Sunday carvery for four people and two dogs (yes a dog friendly pub), as we were staying overnight in the campervans. The owners are very welcoming, and the support staff do them proud, paying attention to our order as one of our party has a wheat alergy.Great food especially the carvery on Sunday. The whole expierience was brilliant and we can't wait to go back.

What a find! Two of us (and husky) enjoyed a terrifically tasty and leisurely lunch yesterday .. battered cod and chips with mushy peas and battered king prawns with chips, salad and onion rings .. freshly cooked to order and generous portions . Great service all round and the bar man thoughtfully brought out water for the dog without being asked. Highly recommended.

What a carvery and excellent service. We were a group of 10 (two families) and we were warmly welcomed. They even offered our dog a bone and we were able to dine in the pool area to enjoy a delicious carvery.Tasty Yorkshire’s and excellent quality meat selection. The chocolate fudge cake was delicious.Would certainly return.Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the beach to visit.

Brilliant pub. Location is just behind Greatstone beach.Staff are attentive, welcoming and helpful.Had a good mix of locals and the tourists but felt like all were welcome and not like either a local pub or a tourist venue. We went on a sunday for lunch and the carvery was excellent. Really good selection of food and all of looked great. We had the turkey and the lamb and both were fresh and tasted great (not dry like a lot of carverys can be).Deserts tasted like they were actually home made and the portion sizes were great.Next time we are in the area we will be coming back! One thing I was really intrigued about was the huge looking BBQ pit in the garden. If that gets fired up during the summer please let me know!!!

This is such a wonderful pub/restaurant. The staff are superb and the chef is fab. Sunday carvery at its best. Plenty of meat choices and vegan options and eat as much as you can. It's so charming, clean, well set out (not a massive place) and decorated well. Young man clearing tables is equally lovely. Everyone did their job very well. The FOH lady made us feel extremely welcome and had a wonderful personality. I can't find any fault with this place at all. Well worth a visit....very child friendly too. Thanks chef for making my granddaughter happy with your kind gesture. We'll be back for sure.

My husband and I stayed there in our motor home for one night. Even though they were full they made room for us. We arrived early for our meal and it wasn’t a problem to eat earlier. The staff are warm and friendly and welcoming. They even put the rugby on for us!! Well done.

Very warm welcome, food was lovely. The place is also dog friendly which was nice since we retreated there for lunch after a walk on the beach with the dogs. The crab was delicious, and my steak was very good as well. The children enjoyed their lunch too.Place was also well looked after.
