Lord Whisky Tea Rooms in Shepway

We had Sunday roast at the restaurant it was the worst meal we have ever had the roast chicken was boiled very raw and cold took the first one back and the second one was much the same. Roast potatoes where hard and for some unknown reason we had rattioie on the plate as well. For the price we paid it was very poor and dangerous to eat. We will not be going back.

Nice people with lovely coffee and breakfast. Well worth the effort to ride out to by bike (it is hilly around here)

Mixed experiences.First visit was great with good coffee and cake.Second visit they didn't know what a flat white was even though it was on the menu and I was given an Americano. Second attempt was a milky coffee. Third attempt was a flat white so 5 out of 5 for perseverance and customer service (the lady making the coffee was bright, bubbly and lovely).Third visit was a disaster - Sunday lunch: tough beef, shop bought Yorkshires, anemic roasties, poor service, we left after waiting for pudding /coffee even though staff filled shelves three times with brick a brack. Apparently the poor service was my fault for not "shouting".It's a charity and does nice drinks and cakes so please visit just avoid the Sunday lunch (£15 each) .

Had a lovely roast dinner at Lord whiskies for 9 people it was lovely I recommend other people to go and the staff were friendly.and warm welcome well done Lord Whisky

Always a warm welcome by friendly staff. Tables cleared and cleaned between customers. Nice food and very reasonably priced.Lovely big garden to sit out in and also dog friendly.

This is a great place to have tea after walking through the Western Forest. Serves huge portions of cakes and has a shop for antique tableware and vintage knick knacks. And you can see the farm around the corner :-)

Tea room funds supporting Lord Whiskey rescue center. It is situated in the countryside & will need a car to get there, unless walking the dog or riding through a beautiful area. Dogs aloud in. Second hand crockery, glassware, ornaments & other items available to buy. Locally made jams, cakes & goodies also for sale. I was bought a lge plum pudding as a gift. I will certainly be enjoying it this Christmas (better than Christmas pud). We had an enjoyable lunch. Freshly cooked fish & chips for me. Pie of the day, homemade. Omelettes, baked potato & other dishes on the menu. Large pot of tea, (not one where you can just about squeeze two out of the pot). Can get very busy so it might be better to book at weekends. Really nice place to go for a tea & cake or lunch & you're supporting a good cause.
