Excellent pizza & various other things cooked in the oven (bread for salads etc).I believe they even cook some of the desert dishes in there also.Laid back atmosphere with a range of semi upbeat music.Friendly staff and happy for all the family, even if your kid is surfing the tables. Not formal at all, a touch trendy.

Tasty pizza, yummy mac and cheese, good atmosphere and suitable for bringing babies.

Absolutely loved our time at Luben’s. The sharing dough-ball starter was so good, and the pizza was amazing and I was able to add all my own toppings to make up my very own vegetarian pizza. The white wine spritzer was delicious and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come again!

Ordered the Romana style pizza. It’s large at 15” but nothing like an actual Roman pizza, which is a crispy base. Pizza was completely edible, although I question if the spinach used was the frozen stuff? Thinnest, floppiest pizza base I’ve ever experience. See the photo. Cannot in good conscience recommend this place for other visitors to Folkestone.

The restaurant was nice and the service was good. As for the pizza, it was average at best. My family loves pizza and the menu was very similar to Pizza Express. That’s where the comparison stops. Unfortunately, we tried pizzas that had sauce poured over them that tasted like mayo and vinegar. Ruined the pizzas. Bad call on our part. If you’re a pizza purist tell ‘em to hold the sauce. The crust was so thin it was non- existent. So you had a plate of cheese, toppings and runny sauce that made for sloppy fare. Yeah I’m being nice with the 3 stars. Go for it!

Great food - shame about the service. Visited by chance and have to say the dough balls with trio of dips, side salad and sourdough pizza were very tasty. Unfortunately the meal was spoilt by the long wait for the pizza (and meter running out). Happy to wait but just needed someone to let us know and one of us could have checked the car. In the end we had to ask twice to be told it was on its way (although staff didn’t actually go and check) and the pizza finally arrived as we gave up and asked for the bill.

Walk in only and popular. So go there with friends and don't worry about having to wait a bit for a table or for your food. Nice pizzas and share the sweet calzones over coffees.

What a little gem this was to find!Lovely food and amazing service. The pizza was to die for and was all so fresh. Some of the crust was a little over done but I think that will always happen when it’s homemade and in a pizza oven

O.M.G! I'm Italian and I know what real Italian tastes like, but I have to be fair, considering it is not in Italy, I'll give an 8/10! Food is lovely and place is cozy! We liked it that much that we went back in the late afternoon to have a chocolate and peanut butter calzone with ice-cream. It was great! we loved it and we loved the town, so If passing by, we'll definitely repeat 😁👌

Fair price drinks and wines.Various toppings to suit most peoples taste for a pizza on a spot on dough. That's why I recommend you to try their pizza.Didn't tried their pasta, until next time.
